AEG. I really doubt any band say how much they want the tickets to be themselves.

Jon Bon Jovi. No one can make him do anything he doesnt want to. He wrote work for the working man. He is screwing his fans. He is a hypocrite.

Poor powerless jon, give me a break. He will have known how much these prices would be. There is no excuse for this in my opinion.

The prices are really to be expected. I paid over £40 for Muse in Liverpool, so it really is no surprise for these prices at the O2.

As bill hicks would say take a deep breath.....

These prices are NOT to be expected.Over 1000 pounds for one ticket to one gig in Greenwich? that price can never ever be justified. Free market supply demand blah blah. I have never even met someone who would pay that , let alone actually know anyone who would.

It applies to a lot of artists though, it is AEG's fault, not the bands. It was the same for MJ, another artist who was with AEG.

Im not saying AEG wont try and bleed every last penny out of people, because they will. Im saying Bon Jovi is Jons band , he calls the shots , hes the manager. Figures DO get discussed and he signs things off. He didnt have to do this, but he chose to because the figures were right.

Yeah but that's £40 including all booking fees for a band classed as one of the BEST live. Also, you could get as close to the front as you wanted.

£40's the absolute most they would've charged aswell- absolute maximum, it wasn't just one potential price bracket.

£200 to get to the front of a gig is just taking the mic a little bit. It's not a one off either, charging hundreds has become standard for Jovi.

Was lucky enough to be BLOCK A for their first o2 gig and that was £115 including booking fees .. 2 years later? £200.
