Wow, liljovi was pointing something out to make the stats more accurate and he's given a snotty reply like that?

I take an hour out of my life to try and make the world better for you guys, and the *very first* reply I get is someone trying to correct me, for a mistake I haven't even made. Liljovi needs to learn some manners.

I don't notice you saying "thank you", either.

No one tried to correct you. liljovi simply said they thought it was only done twice instead of 3 times. that would be a very easy mistake to make. no big deal. it's nice to have all these stats in one place though, but you're not jesus.

I wonder where Jon got his song counts from when he said Blaze was the "70th song". Because this count is 72, really it's 63 because in my mind jukebox songs don't count. They're not even full songs. Chapel of Love is all of 15 seconds.

And by the way...

A disgrace! Those numbers should have been switched!

Cool

I'll talk about SET-LIST, OK?

IMHO this O2 Run was only good, nothing more than that.

Was the entire band catalogue explored? NO!

For example ... Only one song of the Pre-SWW Era appeared and it was the same every time (Runaway)

A lot of "Core" songs for a Residency and a lot that I, YES I, don't like.

Runaway, Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive, You Give Love A Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Keep The Faith, Always and It's My Life. With this 8 songs you have all the casual fans happy and us too
The rest of the set could be anything that the BAND wants. But they are too lazy too perform songs with real passion these days.

If you are going to play a "rarity" you've got to introduce it in the right way. For example ... "This is a song of the XXX Album ... In that particular time this song means blablablabla to me and I hope that you like it"

If you know that a lot of casuals fans are in the gigs you've got to try first to make them happy with the songs that they want to listen and then try to introduce to them the other stuff properly ! In a way that after finish the gig all that they wanna do is to buy or listen all of your catalogue

I love this band so much but right now I'm so angry about a lot of decision that the CEO makes ...

Sorry about my english, one day I'll write well I promise that to all of you

I wish I could back in time and post these stats, cause I guarantee that all the people who are shitting on it now would be salivating at the prospect, but telling me there was NO WAY it would happen.

Definitely! there are songs that would never have been played during the LH tour. However, you give a little and people only expect more. I'm still surprised there were things they still could have done but didn't. It surprises me they didn't revisit Roulette, Get Ready, Only Lonely, during the residency. Yet they pulled out songs like Let It Rock which more than make up for that. I'm not disappointed at all by the residency. I think the band could have done even better in terms of some song choices (I like Crash but 11/12 nights seems overboard even to me), but overall I am very pleased.

Generally people have been disappointed over two things. The band is pulling out some of the rarest songs they could play, but as a result are switching up the rest of the set less. On LH, they may have not been pulling out the big guns, but the setlist still varied each night with at least 4-5 different songs. On the Circle tour, we've seen exact repeats of sets on some nights (go to the Circle Tour Guide and count the first 23 songs on the running count - that's the set I'm talking about), sometimes only 1-2 changes. Now, with most bands that is expected but with Bon Jovi, the fans are just used to a new setlist every night. However, the thing that really seems to be causing the frustration is Jon's broken promises that he didn't have to make. Don't give interviews that say "I deliver these setlists fresh every night at 7pm with the delivery man waiting outside my door" or "I change 8-9 songs every night" or even mention the possibility of playing full album nights if you're not going to follow through. If he didn't say those things, most of the frustration wouldn't exist. I understand why they are playing what they've been playing, it makes perfect sense - play what is going to go over well. That doesn't upset or bother me in the slightest, because I saw my one show so far this tour and even though I got THAT setlist, it was one of the best shows I've been to period.
