At no point were we told it was on the condition that we made lots of noise or were we asked if we lived in Greenwich. I asked what was the catch and she said there is no catch, they were just trying to 'fill out' the floor.

Reckon if your in for doors opening you might stand a chance of getting a pit ticket? Even if your in the lower tier.

AEG were sending out emails / texts on the 8th to the locals in Greenwich advising them to text back for free tickets.

This is a seriously undersold run and for one reason only, greed.

Anyone got one of these emails they could post ? Be interesting to know how many were sent out.

I hope a lesson has been learnt here, the 02 prices are a joke.

Despite previous comments on this issue i think someone really should show some humility over this. The fans of this "working class" band have been collectively slapped in the face.

The CEO of this "major corporation" said he would look into the pricing at the 02 and if tickets were "richly priced" he would say something....

"Sorry" would be nice!

I've got mixed feelings about the free tickets.

Went to my first Jovi show Monday and loved it, so we got right onto Ticketmaster and got final night (26th June) tickets in block 101 on the lower tier, £111 each. Upper tier would have been cheaper but the atmosphere didnt look quite so good up there on Monday.

If we got offered floor seats on the night for free, happy days!! If someone that paid less than I did for mine (or didn't pay anything at all!) gets moved from the upper tier to the front I won't be best pleased....that seems very unfair! But bottom line, I'd rather enjoy the show in a packed full arena, than in an arena that has empty seats in it.

this sounds similar to what happened to me ....

I think the tickets should have been cheaper, but it was my choice to buy then when I did for 2 nights.... My upper floor ones on row A were £168 for 2 tickets... these then were being sold buy 2 for 1. I wasnt best pleased but at the same time I was pleased that the lower price meant more fans could then see them so I was happy for my fellow fans. They do need to make the tickets prices more fair to start with.

Default Free upgrades

Hi guys - this is my first post but I thought I would thank whoever started this thread and share my epxerience last night (June 10). At about 8.20 we went to the information desk opposite block 410 and cheekily offered to be upgraded for free. After a strange look the lady behind the desk said 'how many do you need?' and we exchanged 4 x block 419 tickets for 4 x block 112tickets!! I told a couple of other people about it at the bar and I know 2 girls got 2 x A3 so it's definitely worth a try!!

I thought i would also post here, As some of the comment here helped me out aswell, so may be use to others.

After reading JerseyBoy and Dawns post i knew that there were people dishing out better tickets.

We arrived at the o2 at about 1940 and went straight hope to Tier 4, We went to look at original seats in Block 401. Was high up but level with the stage, so were not to bad.

However whilst walking to these seats at an earlier block maybe 404 or something there were 2 o2 security staff and one had alot of tickets. I assumed she had the spare tickets. I went over to them and asked if they could tell me where my seats where, she told me but then asked if i wanted better seats! she then asked how many of us in the party, only 2. And gave me Block 111 Row A. I offered my tickets in return but she said dont worry and said we can use these tickets if we dont like Block 111!. As we were row A we had a great unobstructive view. We were level with next to Block A3 row Z.

But if you see any o2 Staff with lots of tickets in hand, Go and ask a random question. About where your sitting or so. And hopefully you may get a upgrade!

There did seem to be alot of happy people coming down from the top tier.

Hope this helps some of you.
