This. I feel the exact same way. I really don`t get people saying the band seems to be enjoying themselves more because Richie and his problems are gone (at least for now). I felt that, when on stage, Richie was more deeply involved on an emotional and musical level than he had been on any U.S. tour since 2003.

So I have to say, maybe it's different this leg than in 2011, but to anyone who says Phil X DOESN'T have stage presence, I offer this video as a counter example, from Milwaukee in 2011 (especially the last chorus!):

Phil X has exactly the amount of stage presence that the situation deserves. He's not showing off, he's just filling the space Richie left.
