Seems like it was a good show. The setlist is still quite mediocre, but it seems to be slowly improving. Jon sounded surprisingly decent on ITA, btw.

The setlists seem to slowly be getting better. I hope We Don't Run remains there permanently and maybe put Roller Coaster and Born Again Tomorrow on rotation.

I agree with the setlists getting better, it seems Jon is slowly getting his confidence back a bit, which can only be a good thing. I do hope Superman Tonight gets a play at some point, I really like that song. Would be nice to see Diamond Ring replace Amen for a few shows at some point as well. Loved seeing ITA, was a nice surprise to wake up to.

I see an improvement in Jons voice and that performance is very decent
On the other side,to tell you the truth,to me Shanks solo is even worst than the one Bobby used to do.**** he destroys the whole performance.
In these arms,one of the most beautiful solos in BJs career and Shanks plays that shit

Sounds like you miraculously thinking that Jon is one day going to sound like he did 10 or even 5 years ago. He's not, we all not that, so if we take into account how he currently sounds, then it's a good effort. There was a much worse version from last year I believe.

And yes, Shanks butchered the solo. Took away all of the emotion that the original had...

That's my biggest gripe with Shanks playing the guitar. No emotion in his playing whatsoever. Everything sounds stone cold.

You can say this about any song.

Anything they play is gonna be the worst version of that song ever done pre-THINFS.

It does, however, sound predictably dreadful.

On another note, In These Arms has pretty much become a rarity post-2013. Considering it's a decent-size hit, they should totally do it more often with David on lead vocals. He was still very capable to nail it OK last time he sang it.
