The only ones spreading negative energy are the kind like you, telling others what to say and do, which leaves little room for debate. Your numerous attacks on various users is exactly the behavior you accuse these "experts" of. If you've really got nothing to contribute to any discussion but slanter on other people's opinion please stop bitching about others and accept that your supposed majority of positive people doesn't exist on this board unless you are a blind follower.

Becky just posted her biggest post review in a long, long time. Now read it again and see how much was about the music and how much was about the show element of a Bon Jovi show. It's what symbelline is on about, I reckon. Jon's supposedly got his groove back but all he's changed is throwing a whole bunch of extra smiles, winks and high fives with the crowd. All while still sounding like a strangled cat. It seems to work though, because his loyal fanbase cares for this shit and eats it up like hot cakes.

I honestly can't imagine anyone saying Phil X sounds great when doing solo's. Whenever Richie used to do a solo the song would take off. When Phil's doing a solo the song comes to a crashing halt. His solo's don't serve the music, they're there because a guitar solo is needed. Like danfan says, he's missing the bluesy feeling, but he's also just not able to compose a decent solo by himself.

But god forbid people on here actually question ones opinion on something, you're automatically blasted by people like rokenrola and the likes because they seem to feel attacked and offended on a personal level. They act as if their entire identity is questioned when really all I do is wonder what attracts you to a guitarist who sounds nothing like Richie Sambora and the sound attached to Bon Jovi. If you really can't deal with opinions stop posting your shit on the internet.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
Thank God for not being you,so full of self, pretending and knowing everything what should or could be.
Maybe Jon should call you to ask advice because you know so much that he and other band members are clueless.
I also dont aprove everything band do and when is needed I write that,I dont have problem with opinions here, this is just reaction to yours and couple of others here opinions for years and years about same thing, you are boring and you didnt tell anything new.I dont care for Richie, his blues playing, his songwriting,he left all of that without saying anything and he is lost a lot.
But we are blind folowers and I will stay that way and write what I feel about this band and no more paying attention to your or your buddies here.

You can have any opinion on the guy as far as whether you like his playing or not but take a glance at the sets they're playing and I only count Shanks playing about a handful a night now. Maybe you're thinking back to when they played more new songs last year.

This is BJ now, like it or not. Judging Phil for not fitting the band is silly,he is great player, adding a lot of energy that Richie lacks for years.
I really dont have a problem with you who dont like BJ state right now,it is your right to think and behave like that but I have problem when some of you judge someone here who attend the show and enjoy it,specially if you judge it because it is female fan and she is not only one who enjoy the shows.
When I say that couple of you here write the same thing for years,no matter is it Richie or Phil now,it is became pattern, complaing about same thing-Jons voice,Richie playing, setlist and now it is Jons voice,Phils playing not fitting the band, setlist, adding Everett and Shanks...and army of fans go and see them, enjoy in music, they dont analise band because it is not a book or some competition,it is concert.
But here you have analists,Jon needs to do that or this, move around, not grabbing the mic, sing lower or Phil must do studio solos because he is hard rock guitar player,he smiles too much and wave with head too much,Shanks is ghost,no stage presence, annoying,Everett is not needed and ...

I see Seb’s post because someone quoted it. I already said in a previous post that Jon and the band sounded fine to me and I was standing next to a speaker, so I think I heard it just fine.

There’s no point in saying anything about Jon’s voice other than he sounds fine to me bc certain people will always say otherwise.

I don’t usually see Seb’s posts. He’s one of those sources of negativity I cut out of my life years ago. And the other moderators know it—that’s why there is a team.

The main problem here is the lack of reading comprehension. Which I've already called you out on.

I'll gladly discuss anything, anywhere but I can't be bothered to argue with people who clearly don't read or understand the points being made and keep referring to other people in the third person. I'm not trying to be snarky, but real. Time is a precious commodity y'all!

Is it hard to believe that you enjoy it? that you are not blind or deaf? that your opinion is valid for you at least. He is not alone here, there are couple of them-sources of negativity but that is their problem.

Go ahead and create a positivity thread.

Again, I'm not trying to be snarky but since there are some people who don't want to read negativity, whether justified of not, feel free to have your safe haven.

I can read and smart enough to get it,it is one thing to discuss something, you dont like it but I like it,that is world today but discuss someone in negative way who attend show or like the videos, calling them names-blind,deaf,low standard is low hit and you can take analogy in anything for that-for example you like 50 shade of gray trilogy,I dont,it is one the worst movies ever made for me.but I wont call you tasteless, blind or stupid for like that.
It is very simple, different taste, someone enjoy and someone analises everything.

Don't waste your time on discussions with this user. It's rather pointless
