HAND needed to be dropped. It's a high tempo song that exhausts Jon and sounds like shit. I also think bad medicine should go.

I'm so glad to see THINFS songs slowly being dropped. Only 2 songs from the album this show. As much as some of you may like the songs, they definitely kill the mood. The title track and extended solo might be the only exciting live new song they do.

When we were us was literally written to be played at the hall of fame. Now that it's done, no point playing that awful live song anymore.

It's nice seeing this setlist morph, especially since I'll be seeing them in a couple weeks.

Yeah, I'll actually agree with most of this...

The new songs are great for the YouTube watcher but when you are there and Jon is pumping up the audience and then goes into a new song that no one knows, it is somewhat of a downer...

The new songs should be limited and worked in strategically...

I like the This House intro with Knockout to follow... I think Rollercoaster should be the new permanent fixture... and then one more new one after that...

But damn, that performance was so slow and boring...

I agree about HAND, medicine I still think people expect unless RYH (which sounded decent yesterday) replaced it more permanently. The changes in set are nice to see, I would like to see Rollercoaster, Saturday Night, Always and IBTFY make appearances soon, along with the audibles. I'm certainly enjoying this leg a lot more than last year.

Pretty fair review... In summary, everything was great but Jon's voice...

Isn't he actually saying that, for him, Jon was fine but the mixing was terrible with his mic?

And they would have had a free copy of the album with their tickets.

If any band's tour is promoting a new album, I wouldn't complain about 5/6 songs from said album being in the set. If I'm interested enough in buying a ticket to see an artist, at minimum I'd listen to the current album and the greatest hits.

If the other 15/16 songs in the set were of the right quality, they could easily have plenty of new songs and not alienate the crowd. As well as really selling the songs in a way they haven't seemed to do since loves the only rule. If you stand behind the music, make the fans care.

That mixing thing is something I've noticed from videos on this 16/17 tour as well. From, let's say 2003 to at least 2011 if not 2013, Jon's voice was more than often mixed a bit too upfront live, being a bit too prominent in the mix (and at the height of his nasal singing that was sometimes annoying).
This tour they take it back far more at times, probably to disguise his vocal shortcomings. The problem is that they don't seem to find the proper balance for it.
