I just have to say... it's easy for us to critique these shows by watching YouTube videos and looking at the setlists but nothing, NOTHING compares to being there. This was my 4th Jovi show and there was an extra special feeling about being there last night. The feeling that came over me. I connected with the songs in a different way. And i actually felt that this was a special show for Jon too, not just another stop on the tour. The crowd really surprised me. Denver really gave it their all.

Yeah, I agree. I was surprised to how well Jon sang it. Still cramped up but way beyond what I expected. The short speech he gave about the Boston tragedy was appalling though, the man just can't speak in public if his life depended on it.

Salaam Aleikum,

It certainly is my favorite of theirs. But I might add These Days, it's not an epic as such but it is lyrically gorgeous.

Well thanks Matt for stealing exactly what I wanted to say, this was even my 4th show as well. I felt like not only was this a Bon Jovi show, this was a ROCK show.

I've gotten Dry County 5 times, never once been bored with it. That said, there are rare songs that I've never heard live (I Believe, Hey God, TAALS, etc) that I would want to hear before DC again.

I get the feeling that, as much as I wish Richie will return for my show, Phil X gets that "rock" factor back to the shows that has partly gotten lost somewhere along the way during recent years (and especially early on the tour).

I really felt like Hey God was coming. I could feel the special energy in the air. But DC was awesome. Never thought us mere mortals in Denver could get a song like that pulled out here

I think it was Mondays snow and the impending 2nd snow storm (which still has yet to materialize) that caused the Denver fans to go nuts. Like a restless anxious energy.

This is so tough. I have seen bon jovi so many times that Phil X would be a welcome addition. Phil certainly adds something that's for sure. Will be interesting to see what happens if/when Richie returns.

I will say that not trying to take pictures of everything gives you a whole new experience. I only had my iPhone so I filmed HAND and snapped a few of the hexagons to show folks at home, but I wasn't trying to constantly frame stuff. That being said, it was amazing how many people must have watched the show through a viewfinder or screen of a camera
