Why? At even the most dirge of a setlist I would never have to "try" and enjoy myself at a Bon Jovi gig.

Adam, I'll be really surprised if you enjoy these shows any less than I did Atlanta last night. By this time tomorrow, I should be getting close to Tampa . . .

Jon really should be doing an extended version of one his "Johnny's church of rock'n'roll" speeches.

Default Official Tampa thread

I will be at my first Bon Jovi Concert- ever-
Saturday night in Tampa and I can not wait! I know most of you have been to hundreds of these concerts, but I missed the 80s and recently found Bon Jovi. I know I am late- but not too late. I plan on having a blast and sharing this experience with two others- each of us twenty years apart in age. So if the band can still attract new fans from so many different ages and backgrounds--let's applaud them for a change!

The first Jovi show is always a great one, no matter what's the set list like.

The least BJ should play tonight is "Have A Nice Day", and Richie should use his middle finger again. If they'd play "Hey God", now that would be just "divine".
"Something To Believe In" would be an option as well... "I lost all faith in my god, in his religion too, go tell the angels they could sing their songs to someone new..."

Looking at the sets afterwords for St. Paul I think to myself about how lame they were and how I didn't get any song I was chasing. That being said I enjoyed every second of both shows no matter what they were playing. If you don't analyze the set during the show you'll have a great time.

You'll be blown away by your first show. They'll pick you up and keep you there for 2 1/2 hours, then let you back down drained and exhausted. Enjoy!
