Stop bitching guys!
Better crowds get better setlists
O2 and Meadowlands shows are gonna be awesome because of that!

You must be absolutely joking! Were you at that show? It was fantastic. Again, reading the set-list you wouldn't think so but with it being Richie's first show back from his stint in rehab the atmosphere was unbelievable.

That show will rank up there with the best I've ever seen the band. From the opening of the O2 with Livin' On A Prayer to Richie insane solo on Any Other Day ("Look who just got back" - JBJ) the concert was epic.

Yeah, I'm really sick and tired of reactionaries who start revising history. The O2 show got rave reviews from board members who went. It also had the only performance of Any Other Day worth a shit.

That said, the argument that better crowds get better setlists, while true, doesn't speak very well of Jon and his desire to conform to the masses either.

I have found a simple solution for people that aren't happy about the current set lists.
DON'T GO.

It can also be argued that better setlists get better crowds.

Not if you look at the opening Hawaii show.

Yup the only great moment was AOD. The rest was lame and way too short. The setlist was exactly as the show was. Very lame. One of those concerts where I regretted paying high prices (compared to 2010 is was a bargain though!) and flight/hotel costs and to this day this is my last BJ show and the worst I have ever seen from them (saw em from 1989-2007 up to 15 times). So you obviously are a post 2000 fan I guess and easier to satisfy.
I hope the 2010 shows will be better than this sad event.
The only thing that seved it (a little) was the great atmosphere in the packed hall. The show itself was dull and way too short.
I feel kinda sorry for you that this is your best BJ show you ever saw. Haven't seen much have you ?

Dude! Don't you have anything better to do than turn everything negative that you see posted on here? Get a life and stop complaining! You're a waste of time.

Much more in depth reviews coming soon from me, but I just want to say that I enjoyed the hell out of this show even if the set was pretty close to the night before. I was happy to hear Whole Lot Of Leavin as that's my favorite off the LH album and Hallelujah which I had never heard before. Jon completely owns that song. It's not one I'd want to hear constantly as I'd rather the spot be filled with one of their own songs, but it was very good.

I got these tickets less than two weeks before the show and expected to be horribly disappointed in them. They were in section 326, behind the stage. What a huge surprise they turned out to be. I was actually closer to the stage than I was in Tampa when I had floor seats. I think that may have helped me deal with the less than exciting setlist. I'd recommend anyone who may be thinking of skipping this tour due to price to reconsider and get behind the stage seats. For the price, they are a steal.

I was let down when Richie started LYHOM again instead of Homebound Train but what can you do? Thanks Terri for thinking of me during the PBP.
