I'm not. I don't know any more than anyone else obviously, but between Richie's past, the wording of the message, the general suddenness of all of this, and the lack of any concrete info, it seems to be the most plausible scenario. Obviously I hope it's not. Honestly, I'm concerned that it may be a serious health issue.

This is rather perplexing. He's been in great spirits lately and absolutely on fire live. He's had alcohol issues before but i'd kind of be shocked if they resurfaced now. Really hard to know though with so few details. And I wouldn't put too much thought into the wording from BonJovi.com b/c you know how far they can be trusted.

On the train back. show was... weird. lots of ups and downs.

I don't think that's true, Jon said he wasn't in the hospital and I think that if a member of the band had a heart attack you would cancel the gig... and tour.

Yeah, I dont think about it. It's just a shame that the band let happening this kind of speculation.

Since my show is "supposed" to be next week in Omaha, I have to say I'm conflicted between being sympathetic and pissed. The thing that bothers me most about the phrase "personal issues" is that it's so open ended and leads to speculation about the reason.

Ain't it weird that they said that Richie wasn't going to be on the whole leg? I mean, if it wasn't something rehab-like wouldn't they just say for that show?

Also it's not a Richie solo show and he's just 25% of the official band. I don't see any reason anyone should get a refund.
