Have to give some cred to Bobby. He may **** up some solos and play like shit sometimes, but being told to handle the lead guitar and sing all Richies harmonys an hour before a show in one of the biggest bands in the world is not easy. Of course I hope Phil X will join the band sometime soon though!

He did a pretty decent solo in Make a Memory and nice back vocals.

I got a phone call today about 3:30 this afternoon and he said that Richie Sambora would not be able to perform tonight's show and I had two choices either pack up and go home or come out here and give you everything I've got. Richie is not in the hospital and he's not in jail or anything but he won't be performing anytime soon so uh we just wanted you to know we are thinking about him and we love him very much and we're sorry he's not going to be here for you and if ever I need help it's tonight OK

Thanks for this, shame its stops on Wanted. Was keen to hear Prayer.

They coped fairly well with Bad Name and IML. Bad Name was alright without the solo, it was different so for a one off it was kinda cool i guess. IML was fine although they really could have done with putting the synths up higher in the mix to give the chorus more beef and make up for lack of guitar.

Every Bobby solo made me shudder though - he didnt even attempt to play it as it was written, he just did some botch job solo of his own. The Wanted solo in particular was disgraceful. Should have just played acoustic straight through on that one.
