Two quotes I've seen on twitter from the show "If there's ever a night I need ya, it's tonight, Calgary!" - Bon Jovi on Richie Sambora saying he wasn't coming at 3:30 pm

"I had two choices - pack up and go home or give ya everything I got .... Richie Sambora won't be performing for awhile"

This is not fair. I don't even have time to sell my tickets if I wanted to.

Either something serious happened to him or his family and it wasn't Richie's fault, or he's back on the booze. Either way the shows should be delayed, and this will likely end up like the last Richie-less leg with identical, standard setlists with no surprises. If he's back for the South Africa/Europe leg then it's just another **** you to the North American fans.

Yeah, but if the band, management, promoter etc only had 5 hours notice they didnt have much of a choice but to perform. People will have already traveled and as for the other dates, flights, car rentals, accommodation etc will all be booked and paid for.

I know it's a pain but I do admire Jon's determination to avoid changes to the plan. He's no Axl Rose.
