But I do agree. I remember reading MGLBIMA, ICMALOOLY, SAYWWASIMH, EWWAPOYH... - all actual BJ/JBJ songs. I almost had a stroke trying to decipher them.

LOL, so did I! I don't know what it means about my brain, but I can rarely figure out abbreviations.

In 2008 Bon Jovi played 'Always' in its original form for the first time in five years and this board went crazy.

It sounded decent then. Not great, decent.

Five years later, people are asking for the TLFR version to return because, in 2013, Jon can't sing a difficult song very well.

Brilliant.

We are all going in circles. 5 years from now, people will ask for the proper Always version, and some will even remember how awesome What About Now sounded in comparison to the new record. It's all the same, only the names will change.

Also, the board went into meltdown when Dry County returned in the set for the first time in a decade. Now, some people are like 'meh'...

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

But he could sing it in 2008. Sounds effortless compared to now.

Does Jon realize how painful it is to hear him attempt this song now? Does he watch videos of his performance afterwards like athletes do?? I'm sure he knows he's not hitting the notes but he must think he's pulling it off well enough to get by. He'd do better letting the crowd sing the last chorus like he does for Prayer. He simply can't sing this song properly anymore.

But he do well enough to get by. I would mind if he sang Prayer, but with Always he do just fine enough.

Don't buy this at all. We were all AWED how well Jon sounded on Always on the LH Tour. Almost every version was at least very good; some sounded amazing. A few people would argue he sounded better on it than he even did back in 95-96. Jon's vocals in 2008 were a very exciting thing to witness (These Days from Frankfurt or I Believe from Twickenham come to mind). Clearly he rebuilt his voice. The problem is it steadily regressed back into shit. So yeah, I'm not sure if I'd want to hear THIS Always live.

I couldn't figure out the last one until I noticed that it should be EWWAPOMH.

Still, nobody should use those abreviations. Write the song name, unless you're talking about THAT song or it's been mentioned before.

The last time Bon Jovi played Glendale was February 24, 2010. The setlist contained no surprises. Some rare songs played that night were Richie's rendition of Homebound Train and the acoustic renditions of Something For The Pain and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night.

A graph showcasing the order of album and single tracks. A peak indicates the chart position in the Billboard Hot 100, thus a crowd possibly knowing such a song. The more peaks, the more familiar a crowd is with the entire set. In case no peak is noted the song either didn't chart or wasn't released as a single.

Songs played per album:

I need to get up before this show is finished so if any mod pays attention, feel free to include the set in this post once the show is done.

Salaam Aleikum,

Actually I had fun deciphering those, took me about a minute - and you're right, it's Every Word Was A Piece Of MY Heart, not YOUR
