I think you're exactly right. The last two shows were such a surprise, and I just couldn't help hoping for that, too. I had also sort of prepared myself for the whole album, and I'd honestly be happy to get it just because then I'd get to hear Any Other Day. I still don't understand why they don't throw it in once in awhile. And Nashville would have been the perfect place.

BTW, a friend got a setlist, and the show was exactly as printed, and there weren't any audibles listed. I have to give them credit for not dropping something because of the heat.

Part of my problem was also the section I was in. I didn't have a fan club ticket for this show and was in the second level of seating -- the club level right in front of a luxury box. It would have been a GREAT seat for hockey, but I ended up with very casual fans around me. In fact, I wonder if some of them had ever heard a BJ song before! What's with that?! I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in my section who'd ever heard Blood Money before. I was entranced during it, but at the end, I realized I was the only one still standing. For God's sake. And then there were the meatballs. I know -- you're thinking "Meatballs? WTF?" I don't know for sure if it was meatballs, but the luxury box behind me was serving something that smelled like meatballs that had been kept over Sterno WAY TOO LONG! I kept thinking the smell would go away, but it just kept getting stronger. LOL Who knows, with as hot as it was, maybe they didn't even need the Sterno! I never thought of the food factor when I decided to get the ticket near a box. Live and learn. LOL Next week in Atlanta I have fan club tickets for both shows, so I should be far away from the luxury boxes and shouldn't have to worry about meatballs.

I'm off to visit my mom and do a couple of dog shows this weekend. Unfortunately, mom still has dial-up access -- ARGH -- so I doubt I'll be a part of Saturday's PBP. I should be home in time for Sunday's PBP, and I'm getting a call from the Backstage member that I called last night. So, provided we have decent reception (and it was bad last night) we'll have that show covered.

I'm quite surprised they didn't play full-LH.

Quite relieved they didn't however why no Any Other Day? Would've been nice to see that for a change.

Thanks for the review Milomom! I'm glad you got to hear Blood Money. Hopefully next time you'll get to hear a few more rarities with the AC turned ON.

Yeah thanks for the review

It does seem like an OK set-list really, just we have been spoilt. We might get some different rarities for the next show anyway

TBH if I had to choose between Saturday Night & Faith and Always & Hey God I will always choose for the first 2, no matter what kind of rarity the latter 2 are.
The first 2 should be standard, if not, they are the perfect audibles, however they should not be audibles

I thought the show was great. They sounded great and yes it was hot in there. The people around me were clueless to any songs except the older songs like Livin on a prayer...etc. I sat by a woman who smelled of moth balls and was a complete stick in the mud!!!!!
