That would be good actually. Just regular highlight...but nothing like from Bounce/HAND..that was just unnatural. o.o

First time I saw that one was at the fanclub show in February. I like it too

And Terri - great pictures - thanks for the sleepy review. Have a blast at the Bruce concert - they say you always remember your first

Me too - that Blessed shirt is tame in comparison to some other stuff he wears. I just don't get people that go to a rock show and then they complain about the clothes or the hair. It's rock and roll folks - get over it. If these guys wanted to wear a uniform (like a suit) and look conservative they would have a different job.

**edit** Don't forget the source of that review folks - Las Vegas - home of the lounge lizard and Wayne Newton.

Wasn't too bad but I just liked his style for Crush. Not saying it's bad now but I just think he should go back to the Crush style.

Decent setlist, shame no new songs were tried out though. Glad to see Blood On Blood, has quicly became my favourite Jovi song and would like to see it be a staple in the set.

I was at the back of GA on Richies side for this show. The shallow stuff first I guess, just to get it over with.
Davids hair is really long, he looks very healthy and happy though. Richie looks and sounds really good. I too thought his clothes were pretty tame for Richie he seemed pretty normally dressed to me. Jon was uttersimplicity for this show, some jeans and a black shirt that Richie apparently buttoned for him!! LOL (the chest is in fine shape as always). Jons hair is the color it's been for awhile and a bit longer than it has been.Tico has hair again and it's gone mostly gray, at least in the lighting I saw it in, which actually seems to suit him. Bobby and Hugh look the same as always.
Jons voice sounded good. He's not in tour show shape breathing wise, I do think he left off singing some lyrics to be sure his voice held out for the whole show, which it did.
No suprises in the setlist, although it was nice to hear Sat night, and Blood on Blood, which sounded really good to me this time for some reason.
Overall it was a very solid very good show. The band, including Jon, seemed very happy to be there, seemed to really enjoy playing.
Jon's commentary was cute. He made a comment about being pleased to actually being let into the Joint this time, since the last time they played at the HR, they got stuck out in the parking lot.
He teased Dave by telling everyone they were getting free drinks and it was all going on Daves tab.
He teased Richie about not coming home on thurs night until the wee hours, because he was out gambling, asked Richie how he did, to which Richie responded that he hadn't done well, Jon just shook his hesd and said it figures, then told him he might get lucky tonight.
The only reference to the new record was that Jon was really happy to be out of the studio for a few days and that he was happy to be here playing.

As for the show not being sold out. If the HR had released the GA tickets sooner than two days before the show I think it would have. People just didn't have enough time to plan a trip to Vegas, which is pretty slow right now due to the economy. I go there a few times a year and this time I saw more things closed, ie the little food stands, the extra little side bars that normally take care of the overflow from the main restaurants and bars in all the hotels. I talked to some cab drivers who said Vegas has been really slow for months now, they just aren't doing the business they were.
I can attest to Richie being out late gambling on Thurs night . I saw him playing as I was leaving the HR at about 2am after playing Black Jack, for some reason the HR was the only place I won any money this weekend. Jon was out at Wasted Space after the show on Fri at least for awhile saw him walk through as I was leaving at 1am or so. Saw Bobby on fri afternoon but never did see Dave or Tico although others said they saw them out Thurs night.

This is exactly what I said earlier in this thread. The tickets were expensive - especially when you consider that most people travel to Las Vegas - not that many people live there. And of the people that do live there, there are so many shows at all times that a one off, expensive show like this will probably not be a draw. Clearly, not releasing GA tickets sooner than 2 days ahead of time is nuts too - you wonder what they are thinking?

I think they are still playing catch up in Vegas, they were used to being able to sell out shows with just the weekend influx of people and they haven't adjusted yet to the smaller crowds going to Vegas. I checked last night Kenny C didn't sell out either and he's one of it not the best show selling artist in country. I think there is going to be a market adjustment on tickets just like there was on Wall Street. Ticket prices will come down some i think . This summer should tell.

I disagree, I liked his style during the Bounce/HAND era and I would actually like if he went back to his HAND look.

Has this turned into Backstage when I wasn't looking? Why are we talking about Jon's hair? It's bad enough that the Las Vegas review talked about their clothes.
