Bon Jovi have a far big catalogue of known numbers to draw from than these guys and yet they still choose not to.
Thanks for the answer, I haven't seen any of them live, the only one I'd pay to see would be Santana, though they might be a bit boring for me since they have some really long songs.

We'll see what happens with Europe. I'm planning to come over to the two Twick shows.

1) I'am not ignoring the point, you don't have to have a rare song in the set in order to be a good set or a good show. The point I'am making is that you still cannot predict exactly what the setlist is going to be. Anybody can say o i predict they will play a song from have a nice day, new jersey , bounce, and crush, one of them has got to be right but you still don't know exactly which one and i'm not talking about the it's my life, who says... and so on.

2) my mistake brilliant MEN

They're not serving the majority with songs like Story Of My Life and The Radio Saved My Life Tonight. They're serving themselves with songs like that. I'm not paying them to play the songs they like, I'm paying them to see them play the songs I like. They can play the songs they like during soundchecks or whatever, but for some reason Jon doesn't understand this theory.

It's the thought that Jon just couldn't care less what his die hards think most of the time, and only thinks about himself.

I would be pissed if that is the set I get.

Problem now for me is that they had raised the bar by playing stuff like:

OWN
Hey God
Always
Blood Money
Blaze Of Glory

When these songs don't turn up to me it just looks lazy.

I LOVE Story of My Life and Radio (although recorded version is better) but set-wise they sure tapered off tonight. I thought they might open with Sleep, throw in a few These Days songs and have a sweet encore.

I think this shows that they were just trying out those tracks, nothing more. I can only hope that was preperation for Europe.

Yeah, this was fun. Dropping Blood Money and Blaze Of Glory for Story Of My Life and The Radio Saved My Life Tonight. That totally makes sense. From We Got It Going On, the set is embarrassingly predictable. That's TWELVE ****ing songs. Not nearly good enough.

Well put!

Logged on this morning expecting a decent setlist, and could not believe my eyes when I read it, one of the shortest shows of the tour so far, I would contend no rarities, and no mitigating circumstances as there had been the previous night.

It saddens me even more because of what they played in Kansas - the reaction on this board to three rarities in that set proved that they can please the diehards and the casual fans in one night, all that's required is a bit of effort and thought. It's piss poor when you think that this is Jon's job. Yes, I get that they had a late night the night before this gig because of the bomb scare, and had to travel to a different city in Florida to play tonight, and they only have a few gigs left on the American leg of the tour - but it's still no excuse. I doubt anyone on here would be able to use the fact that they are tired for whatever reason and only have a few days left before they go on holiday to justify a halfhearted performance at work. So why should Jon?

Also, Richie seems to be singing I'll Be There For You every night now, there seems to be no rotation like there was earlier in the tour between that, These Days and Stranger, which is a real shame and kept the diehards guessing.

Guess I'm just disappointed because Kansas showed us what they're still capable of, but Florida has reminded us how lazy they can be. One thing's for sure: this tour has certainly been unpredictable, not in the way we'd like it to be, but in the sense that you can't predict which cities are going to get something special and which cities they're going to make very little effort for.

Not sure if it was "luck" and SOML and Radio were on the set list but there was a fan that posted on backstage that was in 2nd row that held up signs for both, so who knows.
