Yes, which is why I'm not going. Last time they played New Orleans Jazz Fest nearly 100,000 people showed up.

It'll be vanilla as long as Richie's out. However, that could be more or less than 13 concerts, 13 just happens to be the shows in the next 30 days. From a selfish point of view, if i was offered a choice of Richie definitely being out for 13 shows, or the chance that it could be more or less, i'd choose the 13, but it's a fairly arbitrary figure at the minute. We really don't know how long he'll be out.

Having said that, i do think 13 is a fair guess haha

I happened to be in New Orleans last year at this same time of the year and visited the Jazz/Heritage festival to see The Allman Brothers Band. I wish I had travelled to Louisiana this year instead.

Same as for many of the European shows, (getting away with what they can), they sure need a big break to recoup, or from the festival shows, they will go to the fair shows and then Vegas, no many fans are willing to pay more and more for the same songs over and over and over....
