Just watched these painful videos and Bobby was on Richie's spot. Dunno which gear he used though.

Thanks. I never watched the videos and don't plan to.

BTW, according to the JazzFest schedule, showtime is 4:50 PM CDT. That's 21:50 GMT. Convert to your time from there.
Thanks Terri, I can't really wait to hear news now, I am starting to feel sick with anxiety.

Although I sort of doubt there will be a replacement today it that will be the case, as it is a festival I just think Bobby will fill for Richie.

Do you think that maybe they could mix it up because Richie is not there? Maybe this will take Jon off auto-pilot because he has to make up for the fact, that Richie is not there and cove up for Bobby.

I really think there's no chance. At least not at a festival like this.

They should play Destination Anywhere if Bobby's on lead. He actually was able to play considerably well on that song.

I'm assuming if it's Bobby, he is still gonna be using Richie's gear. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Bobby hurtin' for money a few years ago to support his sick son? Make's sense for him to use some of Sambora's pricey gear...

Not only that, but I would imagine that they would want Bobby or whoever the new guitarist is to have a sound as close to Richie's as possible for this type of situation.

I also think it's the press trying to create something out of nothing and create hype of will he or won't he show...

If their jazzfest performance isn't two hours of freeform sax-assisted noise I'll be very disappointed.

Not sure what to make of it.
He won't be there but there'll be another lead guitarist using Richie's gear to get a sound as close as possible to Richie's. The show will be 2 hours long. Source: Me.

Salaam Aleikum,
