Jon Bon Jovi has a strange aversion/can't be arsed to play any of the band's own songs that their fans really love. There's been the odd exception this tour, ie Damned, Blaze, Living In Sin.

So when he writes out the encore Jon just chucks in a few covers. Lazy bugger.

Not really. Those covers in the end are almost never on the setlist and are only done if Jon feels like doing something more for fun.

Salaam Aleikum,

For a while it was looking like they were finally getting the message and mixing things up again, but now it looks as though they are really hitting their stride and have selected the 40 songs that have a shot to be played on any given night. That # should be more like 60 that could be thrown into the rotation with an ounce of regularity.....

I'm not sure how much longer I'll go on hoping to hear them play some of the good stuff from years gone by......

Ciao,

Mikey

I don't understand why they don't just throw a couple of rarities in every night, it ain't gonna harm them and it's gonna please the fans

Like I said in the other thread, it's because there's so many songs in the main set

However, the 3 covers out of 4 songs encore baffles me too.

I think Jon's giving the crowd what they want, the man has has 20+ years experience of writing set lists.

We'll see a big change come Europe, when Dry County, Hey God, Tokyo road are wheeled out.

You never know
