i do have a couple of questions for Steeler5812 :
1) what do you mean about the sound sucking? i thought it was decent (not fantastic, but then i've never been too impressed with the sound in sports arenas).
2) what is the reference to there not being anything wierd with Richie? please excuse my ignorance, but i'm out of the loop.
i have to agree with yomamasofat, the encore was pretty weak.
overall, i thought it was a very enjoyable show. not sure if i enjoyed it more than the show i saw 3 years ago or not, though...

You were probably right about the time. I probably looked at my watch wrong.
As far as the sound, these thoughts are just my opinion:
Early on Jon's vocals were a little muddied. Instruments were way out front.
Pretty significant feedback in a couple of spots, especially Bed of Roses. That was painful.
Finally, I thought there was too much "high end" in Jon's voice. I would have liked a little more bass there.
As far as Richie goes, there was a thread referring to him being somewhat disconnected on stage. I didn't see that at all last night.
Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a great show. From the band standpoint they were very tight and really into the show. They seemed like they were having fun. I didn't sense that on the last tour.
I definitely agree about Keep the Faith. I'd have loved it if they had dropped Sleep When I'm Dead and Captain Crash and added KTF and These Days.
All-in-all a great show. I'm probably being overly critical about the sound but when you're crew has worked as many shows as these guys have and have played this arena a few times before, those things shouldn't happen at $90 a ticket.
