first off, i wanted to address a post by deb - YES, Complicated was played, right after Bad Name.

Steeler5812 - thank you so much for answering my questions!

i agree, while thinking about it, i agree that the vocals were a bit muddy.

also, i'm thinking the band did seem more into the show last night than they did at the show i was at on the last tour. then, it had seemed more like it was a "going through the motions" type of deal, i guess you could say.

P.S. for anyone who wants to re-live last night's cool version of WSYCGH with Jennifer Nettles, here it is...

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Not bad, although Richie was the one with the cheesy "Hotlanta" quote!

Bon Jovi works crowd at sold-out Philips
By RICHARD L. ELDREDGE | Wednesday, January 18, 2006, 11:35 PM

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Jon Bon Jovi disappeared from the Philips Arena stage Tuesday night as the band started playing “Blaze of Glory.” A couple of minutes later, he popped up in Section 103 on a pedestal, a surprised, adoring crowd surrounding him. During “Bed of Roses,” he strolled down the aisle as fans took snapshots on their cellphones and a woman spontaneously danced with him. If Bono had done this, it might have felt pretentious. If David Lee Roth had done it, undeniably cheesy. But somehow, the remarkably well-preserved Bon Jovi did this without a pretentious or cheesy bone in his 43-year-old body. Over two hours to a sold-out crowd, the band throttled through its hits and kept the patter to a thankful minimum. (OK, Jon did say, “They didn’t call this Hotlanta for nothing!” at one point.) The stage was remarkably modest and unadorned, the concert relying mostly on the sturdiness of the tunes and Bon Jovi’s charismatic presence. One ode to modernity: a monstrous high-def screen that enabled even the nose-bleed fans to see guitarist Richie Sambora’s sweat globules. And in a reprise of their CMT “Crossroads” special a few months back, a buoyant Jennifer Nettles of Atlanta’s own Sugarland dropped in for two Bon Jovi songs, the catchy country hit “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” and a defiant “It’s My Life.”

I went to the atlanta concert and had a great time. a few bumps but otherwise I thought it was great. I want to try and make it to one in Feb. I have the ticket... but I don't know if I will be able to get the time off from work.
