My wife told me that you all would be talking about the fliping the fan off thing! Well ok atlanta I was the one with the BOSS JR sign! This was ment as a complement!
Jon was a big BIG fan of Bruce wen he was young! I first saw Bon Jovi in 84-85 before he was big. I can remember them in ATL downtown Jon had an American flag as a cape. the first show I saw back then, he was in the rafters over the stage he droped his microphone 25 feet, it bouced off one of the drums and landed on the floor!
Instead of climing down Jon jumped down grabed the microphone and did not miss the next word of the song!
Right then I new this guy was 100% cool and dedicated to the show and fans! After many years, 13 shows, I treat my wife {over the edge fan} who made Bon Jovi a part of our lives! for 12 years and about 6 shows, to the Duluth show. I paid over $600 a ticket because of her love for JBJ. Now dont get me wrong I was a huge fan also. After all we drove up all the way from Florida!
So any way my wife made a flip book of signs for Jon. we had 7 or 8 great signs like- LET IT ROCK! DANCE WITH ME ONE WILD NIGHT PRAYING TO MEET YOU Sayreville Rocks- ECT. I made the Boss JR sign! This was ment only as a complement! He loves the Boss and idleized him while growing up. This sign means, " folowing in the foot steps NOT COPIYING OR TRYING TO BE LIKE! I cant beleve Jon took this the rong way. Even if he did, why would he let one fan out of 16,000 ruin his night and put a damper on the show? I was in shock! more to come.
