In regards to Always:

That's you, when someone says that rendition of Always was the worst thing he ever heard of the band. If that wasn't the worst thing, then what was?

Yeah, sure, it was a little better than recent performances. But then again, recent performances weren't exactly something to write home about either. Just because something gets better, doesn't mean it's suddenly decent. Jon's voice wasn't decent on last tour and it isn't now.

Jon hasn't been able to sing Keep The Faith for close to 10 years now. The last time he actually sang the song was in 2003. 2004-2007 was rubbish, 2008-2011 is what I'd say was decent. Anything afterwards has been shit. If stuff like this is suddenly decent then what's next? Him giving vocals like the ones on the Because We Can tour being an excellent thing?

What people do on here is pretty much saying a match lost by 10-0 is terrible, thus a match lost by 9-0 is a decent game. That's not making sense either now, is it?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Playing it earlier in the set wouldn't change a damn thing.
Regardless of all the energy and motivation and showmanship that Jon displays, the current state of his voice is bad.

I keep saying, Matt and Phil do give a renewed energy and Jon appears to have a new-found enjoyment and zest for it if you know what I mean. Which is awesome. We can't go back, but I'd love to see more performing like that.

I apologise for my laziness, but can anyone show me some videos where Jon is showing all this energy and showmanship you all are praising him for??

The few videos I saw (due to his horrible vocals) he was about the same as 2013-movement wise and still made the 2011 Jon seem like prime-Axl Rose.

And if he is so convinced of his actions - why does he not send similar letters to our orchestras (such as the New York Philharmonic) who play in Israel all the time. Zubin Mehta became the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the New York Philharmonic in 1978 and remained there until his resignation in 1991. Under his leadership the New York Philharmonic played in Tel Aviv many times.

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) appointed Mehta its Music Advisor in 1969, Music Director in 1977, and made him its Music Director for Life in 1981.

So Waters is just pissed off because other rock bands play there?
Yes, he played here himself in 2006 having a sold-out show (also more than 50,000 people). He started this horrible campaign only later.

Phil-X has just posted a nice post about the concert, seems to me like it was a highlight in his career:

Saturday night in Tel Aviv. 55,000 people singing in unison. AMAZING! I just landed at LAX & I'd like to share a thought. to all my friends & fellow musicians who have supported me, thank you. to all my friends & fellow musicians who have been inspired by me, you inspire me too. to all my friends & fellow musicians who have, for some reason, always been in some kind of competition with me, I win.

If Richie return next year, I would not be so surprised by this message. But it will not happen.

He's not going completely wild indeed but I liked the small running he did during TWTWMM. Granted, that's not much but you gotta find something positive yeah?

Comparing a 30 year old kid to a 53 year old man isn't comparable...

Well, why not? When we compared 2010 Jon versus HAND tour Jon it was way better and he was also 'older'

I understand that he has to pace himself physically to make it to the end of the (mini) tour, but comparing his vocals is legit IMO.

Current rendition of KTF is also strong, but there's a weak link up there...

Also, Jon wasn't 30 in 2003, you might want to check your maths
