Fans attending the third and last Bon Jovi concert at the Sydney Football Stadium this Sunday night are encouraged to ARRIVE EARLY, don a Santa hat, and give the band a fantastic farewell for their last show of 2010.
Over 34,000 Bon Jovi fans are expected to attend Sunday's concert with gates opening at 5.00pm.
The SCG Trust recommends fans use public transport to and from the SFS.
STA buses will operate a bus shuttle from Chalmers Street at Central Railway (Route 1) to the SFS and from Young St at Circular Quay (Route 3) to the SFS between 4pm and 8pm. Return services will operate from 10pm until 11.30pm.
A special event bus ticket or Moore Park Link ticket is required for travel on these buses. Return special event bus tickets cost $5.80 Adult, $2.90 Concession or $14.50 for a family; or purchase a Moore Park Link ticket from your CityRail station for train and bus travel to and from the SFS.
MyBus, MyMulti, Pensioner Excursion andFamily Funday tickets are not accepted on Special Event buses. However premium tickets (SydneyPass and Explorer) are accepted.

34,000...might still be some tix available for those in/near Sydney for tonights gig.

Ticketek still have some tix available - just checked and was able to pull up x2 Silver tix in Bay 58 [in the stands] at $49 each. [looked for daughter there...not me....a bit far to travel in less than a day ]

Sydney 3 has been very slow to sell. It was only a few weeks ago that only half the tickets had been sold.

Only disappointment is they removed all the excess pit tickets overnight in the last week. Not sure who got those but there is no way they sold them overnight. Was hoping they would get discounted.

Perhaps an '02' will happen tonight then....have just messaged my daughter with the ticketek info re $49 tix...will be interesting to see if there are people 'upgraded' tonight....and perhaps another reason why people going tonight might well 'pay heed' to the SCG advice to 'get there early'...just a thought.

I dont know about upgrading but I do know those pit tickets just disappeared completely overnight after being on sale for weeks with hardly any selling. The same thing happened in Wellington, can only presume they were given to sponsors etc.
$49 is excellent though, the diamond were reduced to $99 not sure if there is any left or not.

Well found out what they did with the unsold pit tickets, they removed them.

Too bad they couldnt discount them and let the fans enjoy them. So the pit was very spacious apparently. There was about 100 pit tickets that hadn't been sold at last count, before they removed them.

Of all the times to have surgery done, ahhh well hopefully there will be a next time in Australia

Still hoping for I Believe and Wild In The Streets lol. The only thing I'm worried about is that the weather is looking terrible and it was sprinkling before. Hopefully that doesn't effect how long the show goes for.
