A few questions for you guys nearer the front.....
Was it just me or the sound in the 2nd tier but did Jons voice sound a little "high pitched" tonight......as though he had been on helium?
I actually thought Jon got slightly emotional at one point I think it was when they said goodby for the first time....did anyone else notice this ?
Did anyone else HATE the fact the BON JOVI actually played a Robbie Williams song

I know Jon apologised afterwards for something about the song.
Did anyone else notice the STINK EYE towards either Bobby or Dave during In These Arms solo (i think it was anyway)
Otherwise heres my mini review for what its worth.....
JON worked his ass off tonight and was just as I expected, and Dave looked like he was enjoying it, tico was also on top form, and credit where its due Bobby played an important part in the picture too.......Phil X is like a fish out of water im afraid.....
The stage is awsome and as darkness falls it really comes to life, I think Jon struggled with his vocals but he gave his all and that is all anyone can ever expect, KTF was very nearly ruined buy the inclusion of THAT Robbie Williams song, Yes its a good lyric but has no place at a BON JOVI concert (sorry robbie fans), but I think Dave really kicked ass with his solo. from then onwards I think the show really kicked into gear with Jon doing what he does best and coaxing the crowd into his hands with SLEEP and BAD MEDICINE medleys, there are times as im sure you diehards will agree that Jon looks like hes simply on autopilot, but TONIGHT I thought he was genuinely motivated and wanted to KICKASS, and above all he seemed genuine in his messages of thanks etc etc, he slightly brushed the side of Samboragate by saying thanks for sticking with us through the good and bad, and thanking us for our patience. I have to say about half way through the show I felt that we were witnessing the demise of our band, but somehow something switched on and from then onwards it was business as usual, with the crowd totally in his grip and that BON JOVI magic started kicking in.
As is the norm the band went on and on and gave us our value for money with a 2 & 3/4 hour gig ( or a 2 hour gig for you knobheads that constantly get out of your seat annoying everyone and going for beer and crisps)....
I was however dissapointed with the lack of CLASSIC BON JOVI shirts, it was very rare I saw a LOST HIGHWAY tour shirt, I did see a couple of KTF tour shirts though....I dont know if diehards had stayed away or were already in place at the front or like me their old tour shirts wont fit them anymore.....I DID love the fact that when they played THESE DAYS, all the diehards (including me) sang the "oh no no " bits when Jon didnt....but he did acknowledge those that did.
I saw a small banner for STICK TO YOUR GUNS, and I would have loved to see that too....
Anyway some points to make about my night......BON JOVI still the best live band out there, I think he went above and beyond to try to "make up" for the fact Richie was AWOL.....
Richie absence was apparent throghout the gig his style, his talent, his fill-ins and his vocals were missed IMHO....although it DID NOT spoil my show, but they really do need Richie back on board ASAP.....I also think that his abscence has shown just how much he is a part of the whole machine and I think Jon knows that more than anyone and im sure richie will be smug about that ....I dont think Phil X is the best stand in either I think he is more of a thrasher than pop/rocker....although to be fair he was dropped in at the deep end (again)
to sum up I totally loved the gig, great setlist, Jon gave his all and especially the second half gig showed why even after 30 years they are the best live experience band on the planet.
