For the record, I'm not one of those people. I get what you're saying but here's my point. It irks me when people say that Jon has enough money and shouldn't charge as much. I mean, if I won a $100 million lottery and decided to still work (not that I would), but if I did, I would still expect to get paid what I was worth and what someone was willing to pay me. Just because I have all that money in the bank doesn't mean I should take less, does it?

The "what someone is willing to pay me" part is the thing. The fans are raising the prices themselves by proving we'll pay whatever it takes to see the band. Especially with these auctions, and VIP packages. It's insane and not something I've participated in or will participate in. Therefore, you can't really blame it all on Jon being greedy. The people paying these inflated prices share in the fault too.

And you're a real piece of work. Like I care what you think of me. Obviously you know nothing about me as "Brainless" is one thing I'm NOT. I've got just as much right to be sarcastic and snarky in my posts as you do.

Thanks for the welcome danfan!

Now, down to business to clairfy a few things. First, if one knows anything about venue ticket sales, they could hardly say that the Qwest Center is a "po-dunk" market. Pig farmers do NOT make up the majority of concert goers here. Some people have even been known to FLY here to attend shows.
Second, the reporters for the Omaha World Herald who cover concerts would probably also report on parking meter tickets if they still existed. More often than not, when I read a concert review in the World Herald I wonder if they attended the same show I did. So, yes, it is possible that this particular reporter was "fooled".

Aloha !

If you'd win the lottery, would you go your boss and ask him for a raise? Because that's what Jon is doing. And he's asking it to the fans who made him win the lottery, which makes him an ungratefull, miserable sick ****.

Thank you. It rarely happens that whenever I tell people where they belong, I get a compliment in return.

You obviously do, otherwise you wouldn't have quoted me or told me the following:

Yes you've got the right, but unfortunately, brainless people will never reach my incredible level of being sarcastic and snarky.

Salaam Aleikum,

Wow! That youtube vid should could with a warning! I couldn't watch it for long...my head was spinning.

Could anyone tell if the sits behind the stage are more or less obstructed than the first leg of the tour?

If a co-worker was making more than me for doing the same job, then yes I would. Just because I'm rich doesn't mean I don't deserve to be paid the going rate.

Somehow, I knew you'd take that as a compliment.

Sorry no insult intended for calling Omaha a "po dunk" market. I've been to Omaha several times. I finished college at Wichita State University. But, the Omaha concert population compared to the size of the NYC/NJ concert population for shows is small that is what I mean by "po dunk" not what "type" of folks attend.

The recent stuff on youtube sounds much better than the Japan leg of the tour.

That's 'Blaze Of Glory'

Jon's voice sounds a bit better I think.

Question The Concert

Hi all. I was here looking for reviews on this concert to see if it was "only me".

I want to first start out by saying that I am a huge fan and I have followed this band since the 80's and I like some of the new stuff but would rather hear the older songs. I last saw them a few years ago in Chicago and have seem them many times. It was a good show. It wasnt a GREAT show like the last one that I saw. I dont know what it was lacking...but it was something. Jon is one sexy fine man. But, he seem to get winded when he was singing his older stuff. I know that there are songs that I sang with him that night that I sang more of the words than he did. The new stage was awesome. It has many screens on the back of it and when he sang "We Got It Goin On" it was cool to watch him stand back there with the screen lit up in patterns. I will go to any show that they have because I love them. But, I think I miss what they were a few years ago. I think that time is taking a toll. Say it isnt so...because Bon Jovi is one frickin awesome band and if they bless us with another tour date...Ill be the first in line!

Default Great Show!

I was at this show and it was AWESOME. Sure, I would have liked to have heard LYHOM, and I was suprised that Everyday didn't make it - but you can't sing everyone's favorites, right? It was hilarious when he forgot the words to BOG - the little look over his shoulder was funny. I didn't expect him to hit the hit notes like he did on the albums 25 years ago, it is a long tour afterall and letting the crowd sing LOAP saves his voice in the long run. He is a showman, but he's also a business man - he isn't going to over extend what butters his bread. He's gotta be doing something right - he danced around that stage for hours and I never felt cheated.

Being from NJ orginially, we get spoiled with shows at Giants Stadium - with double encores and all that good stuff - but I have to say that Qwest Center is a great venue. They built the place to attract the big names - and they do. Bon Jovi, U2, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban - you name it and youc an best Qwest is on their tour.

It was a great night and I think that Omaha certainly treated the boys right. When I left, I was hoarse, my feet hurt and there was no battery left in my camera - that had to be a good night!
