Default Official Feb 9, 2011 - Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State, USA thread

Predictions, previews, reviews, and rants all go here. I will post the setlist in this post for your convenience.

The beginning of the 2011 tour is only a few days away. The concert will be broadcasted via Ustream (well, the first 30 minutes anyhow). I think they should do something unprecedented and knock the crowd off of their feet right away. By opening with Dry County.

1. Blood on Blood
2. We Weren't Born To Follow
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. Born To Be My Baby
5. Lost Highway
6. Whole Lot of Leavin'
7. It's My Life
8. Runaway
9. We Got It Going On
10. Bad Medicine W/Pretty Woman (Orbison Cover)
11. Lay Your Hands On Me (Richie vox)
12. (You Want To) Make A Memory
13. What Do You Got?
14. I'll Be There For You (Jon and Richie)
15. Work For The Working Man
16. Captain Crash and The Beauty Queen From Mars
17. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
18. Who Says You Can't Go Home (Lorenza on fiddle)
19. Keep the Faith

ENCORE
20. Wanted Dead or Alive
21. Livin' on a Prayer

They should open with Raise you hands, this GH leg calls for it.....

Most likely they'll open with BOB and the play born to follow followed by Bad Name and Born to be my baby

Exactly. It makes no sense whatsoever. They should do it, just for the hell of it and to scare people. Just this once, though.

My vote is for Raise Your Hands, Born to Follow, Bad Name, Born to Be My Baby, and Lost Highway will be the opening part of the show for this tour. I think the setlist will still be structured the same as the Circle Tour minus the Circle songs, with It's My Life and Bad Medicine as the middle of the show, Richie solo (mostly like LYHOM), followed by the slow/acoustic songs on the circle. I would hope Prayer would be the last song in the main set instead of being in the encore. I think the rotating songs will include some new ones that weren't played on the first leg, but not a lot of crazy songs each night. it is the Greatest Hits tour.

Well, Raise your Hands was used as an opener in two shows ... in NMS 4 and Sydney ... at Sydney it went very well , in NMS it didn't , but I think that was because of the song itself, but because the band had an off night ... So I think they should give it a try ... very energetic song , perfect for an opener .

I will be recording it, because unless it's something really worth watching, I won't bother.

Yeah, I'm not expecting anything remarkable... but there's a gnawing feeling that they'll suddenly pull something crazy out of nowhere just because I'm missing it.
