why is everyone always this negative ? on the other hand, if something 'out of the usual' everyone cheers and regards them as heroes.. until they do a vanilla show again. Look, Jon said it himself (to a portuguese newspaper a few days ago): european crowds sing along to the entire songs, americans only sing the choruses. Lost Highway was a huge hit in the US and so gets played a lot. the usual 80s hits get played because everyone sings along to the chourses. as for the 90s, no, they won't play an awful lot of songs off KTP or TD. the later is considered 'too dark' for most soccer moms anyway. the majority of people on those US shows are completely blown away and have little to say about the show. that does it for the band. Jon knows he'll have to put on a little extra effort in Europe. I know it's a shame that the setlists seem to be purely based on statistics. e.g.: how many millions did These Days sell here ? How many people hail Lost Highway as our masterpiece there ? - you've seen it on the when we were beautiful documentary. so stop the complaining, it's not gonna change. what do you care anyway (unless you actually GO to the show?) most people here live either in the UK or somewhere in Europe. YOu'll get better set lists so what's your concern ? You'll have no 'Hey God' to watch the following morning on youtube so you can complain about Jon not hitting the high notes ?
