Right,

I've watched lots of videos from lots of different camera angles of last night's montreal set and it looks like it was a pretty decent show! Just one example. In These Arms below - one of the best vocal performances post 2000 of this song I have heard. Jon nails it and isn't flat on the "in these arms..." bit just before the chorus.

Good performance Bon Jovi

The guy he pushes is Matt, his brother who is in security now. I didn't think anything of it. Just it seemed that sometimes the security get ahead of themselves.

The group took a calculated risk in the middle of the set, when Jon and guitarist Richie Sambora performed a pair of frumpish new ballads, “Amen” and “The Fighter,” without their bandmates. The former was too trite to be preachy, while the latter slightly resembled Queensr˙che’s Silent Lucidity.
This is silly, Silent Lucidity is fuc*ing awesome, if The Fighter was as good as that, it would be one of the best songs Jon ever wrote, and that is not the case.

The shout of the start of Bad Name sounded so... well, without strenght.

On Army Of One, why doesn't Richie's voice come in on the line "So sign me up" at the beginning? Thought that was cool when they did that for BBC and Stuttgart.

So I'm liking the new ending to "KTF" generally speaking, and I usually don't have a problem with Bobby (but then, I'm no guitar player, either). But really--is it just me, or is his solo here truly pain-inducing? I mean, Richie has some flourishes here and there to keep things interesting; David's solid as expected, but then...what happened? Is Bobby's playing some sort of 'style'--the way he beats the life out of the same note a bunch of times? It has a whiny effect that makes me cringe, at least in this video:

Well I've seen it too, and I thought it sounded like crap. You have obviously no idea what you are talking about.

I'm surprised how high Richie went for the "be right by your side" on BOB...
Yeah, Richie hasn't sung that line like that for a long time

I was just listening to the Wild Is The Wind demo and I realized that it reassembles more to how they played them than the original version. The way that Jon sings (without the raspy voice, obviously) and the way it sounds.
