I think the fact is that the most of you (for what I could read here) can be at 2 or more gigs per tour. So, if in the last six years we had four tours, it could be 8 gigs for wich one. For me, it was only one (Rio, October 8, 2010).

Don't get me wrong, I can understand the situation. But for me, They could came here and play the same set list of DC, Montreal...Yeah, some more passion would help, but we don't have Bon Jovi in every tour here...Certainly, I would enjoy it at the most!
I'd been an Aerosmith fan for 10 years and finally they made the trip over to Europe in 2007, which was the first time I was able to go.

I left the show rather underwhelmed. It'd been awesome in parts, but there were also parts that left me rather bored. Steven Tyler was on auto pilot and the rest of the band kind of seemed to zone out. I knew they were able to do much better, but they didn't.

So even if you're able to see a band just once it won't make the experience any better. I've seen plenty of acts only one time, some left me wanting more, some left me thinking "meh, won't do that again." If you feel like you need to lower your expectations in order to try to enjoy it to the fullest because it's your rare chance to see the band, the band is doing it wrong.

If you know a band can do better than what you're getting at your 1 show, your 1 show will feel like a disappointment, especially because it's your first show. You go in with certain expectations and I doubt a set like the one Bon Jovi plays is really pleasing anyone but Jon.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Just watched the I'll Sleep When I'm Dead video. The fact that he stops singing every 20 seconds because of the guitar is idiotic, he's the singer, where's the Jon hurted his leg and keep on singing?

Yeah, and the first time he stopped he walked away from the mic and coughed. It's really obvious Jon's having voice problems, his range is more limited than ever and the sets are suited to have as very little vocal effort needed. Hopefully it will get better as the tour rolls on but, as professionals they should be ready and as close to 100% at the start of a tour. But I can understand, touring has become a very profitable hobby for them, they hardly have anything else to prove anymore, except for the fact that they can still do it whenever they want to...

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and they change Jon's guitar twice before it works. Before the solo Richie comes over pointing on his one like "mine's working -you want it?"
Great moment
Jon's guitar tech was taken outside and shot dead after the show.

Not so funny now, eh?

Don't know if this is true or not but I just heard what happened here. Eyewitnesses say Jon flipped a security guard off who rudely pushed a fan.
