Worst possible encore possible from an entire 30 year back catalogue.

Sleep When I'm Dead and I Love This Town. Jesus H.

Kill me now.

Last two songs should send the crowd home buzzing - here's some better combinations.

24. Blood on Blood
25. Prayer

24. Have a Nice Day
25. I'll Be There For You with long crowd sing.

24. This Ain't a Love Song
25. It's My Life

24. Born to be My Baby
25. Prayer

24. Always
25. Runaway

Actually out of all of them I prefer that last one!!!

This part of the show might be the worst 30-40 minutes of a set in the history of rock and roll.
Agreed.

The band have enough uptempo rockers in their locker, these songs in this order is inexcusable.

Now i feel sad this is not the band i fell in love with. The setlist is horrible

what Id like to know is, how did the majority of people at the gig react to the setlist ? anyone attended the gig ? cause there's our answer. if, say, 80% of the people there were okay with what they got, the band will continue this formula each night. no matter how much a bunch of internet forum geeks complain.

Oh dear another rubbish Night 1 setlist. Lets hope the performance was improved although the early Twitter comments don't sound too promising. Can't understand the need to play songs like WLOL when we have heard it constantly for the last 3 tours now. Jon seems to confuse being labelled with nostalgia with actually having a large back catalogue of good songs to choose from. There is no shame in pulling out some old tunes as long as you keep playing the new stuff.

Songs like Say It Isn't So, One Wild Night & Everyday tick all the boxes- they've been neglected enough that they are rarities for the diehards, yet they were all singles and have videos so will be known by casuals, and they are all post-2000 tracks that Jon so dearly wants to stack up the set with.

And again- Amen & The Fighter is a dreadful double combo. One or the other, but really not both. Amen & Memory, Fighter & IBT4U, Bed Of Roses & Amen, The Fighter & Bells Of Freedom if you must.

To have the first 21 songs identical in the set is really poor when you keep talking how much no 2 shows are the same.

It's obvious who is telling the truth. You've got a few different type of fans:

-Younger folk who are just psyched to go to a concert, never saw Bon Jovi in their peak, and frankly, wouldn't know a good show if it bit them in the ass.

-Middle aged women who don't give 2 craps about what is performed, as long as Jon smiles at them and shakes his ass.

-Objective fans who are realistic, have been to a lot of shows, and can tell a good one from a bad one.

I tend to be believe the latter.

Because the new songs they are performing are dreadful. Insert I'm With You someplace, and that's cool. But until we hear the rest of the album, which, lets' face it, if these are the songs Jon has decided to perform live it more than likely it going to suck ass, drop the crap new songs.

It would only spend the end of Bon Jovi if Jon let it. Plenty of bands release new records but don't turn the show into a bore-fest. Check out from Youtube videos of Def Leppard live recently.

correct: middle aged soccer moms, younger folks who are just psyched to go to a concert and the odd casual fans - there's the 80% of attendances that I mentioned. look guys, this is the ONLY truth: if the entire venues every night were people from this board, we'd get to a point where we'd start booing the band and eventually, they'd know why we were booing. they'd change the setlist in a minute. Jon seems to be careful choosing the setlists according to what the majority of people wants to hear. why would he insist on deliberately playing a set which would disappoint night after night ? so no need to complain, the setlists will remain the same. I dunno why most of you keep betting on silly setlists that include 'I believe' and such whenever a new thread regarding the upcoming show is created. It won't happen in North America. If it ever does it's because Jon is in 'a mood' - and he's pretty much mood-less nowadays.

Yeah, because The Stones and Paul McCartney are really struggling to fill stadiums and arenas across the world. If anything, if Bon Jovi keep this set going it'll be the end of the era where Bon Jovi are capable of filling arena's in America. It's not as if them performing new songs made them win over any crowds lately.

Considering how I've seen both Canadian and American audiences respond to anything they don't know I find it hard to believe a crowd is blown away by these performances. Jon is fully aware of how Whole Lot Of Leaving always marks the start of the first bathroom break for audiences ever since it got introduced, yet he insists on playing it. The same goes for over half of the set, there is just no way audiences are as excited as they used to be.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

People aren't getting the fact that this tour is for a new album of course they are going to play new songs over less popular old ones
