The Europeans on this board have nothing to worry about. Just look at the setlist Croatia got compared to the previous us/canada leg. It had more rarities than all of the Phil X shows combined. There's no way they'll perform this setlist every night to European stadiums several months from now. I think Jon is just a little rusty, which is understandable, and hopefully he'll return to form within a month or so.

You got me wrong here. I don't mean to say Runaway was a worldwide hit that stood the test of the time or anything. But SURELY, most people at a freakin Bon Jovi CONCERT know that song ! At least a good 80% of the people SHOULD know that song ! otherwise, I don't know the point of Bon Jovi even playing North America.

Being rusty is no excuse AT ALL from a man who praises his professionalism so much and is rather ungrateful and unfair to people who paid their hard earned money to see Bon Jovi live. Far as I'm concerned, he was paid to dance, sing and eat dirt if he must. You go to a circus, you expect to see some action, not weeping clowns. so all this 'rusty' excuse is no excuse at all. and that's that.

Is he just sick? He's straining worse than ever at the very end when just a couple months ago he was fine singing it at the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy.

btw, the way he doesn't give a hoot about singing the last Prayer chorus sort of says it all. he can't do it anymore. which is why I'll stick to what I've been saying for years. They need to change the key in certain songs. saves Jon the embarrassment. cause that's what it is. embarrassment. it's pathetic to watch him struggling with certain songs and then brag about on interviews how everyone knows Living on a prayer and sings it at top of their lungs. oh wait a minute, he's right - they do sing it at top of their lungs - but he doesn't. I'm sure a lot of you hear your friends saying ' geez man, you're still into Bon Jovi ? I heard him singing the other day on this recent live concert and damn, that was horrible !!' - this comes from either casual fans or non-fans at all who are entitled to their honest opinion. and then, here we are, every ****in night expecting Jon to improve what he can't physically improve.

Even if I come back from a show saying it was not good, is it worth the energy complaining about it THAT much?
To those who went to the show: do you really thought it was THAT BAD?
Yes. It was. By the standards this band set. The reason I've seen the killers three times and won't see them again is because the shows were very good but not worth seeing again. This band has been so good that they've kept me coking back. Some rest nights and some good night's but all of the shows had a standard. Last night and some of the vids I've seen from the other shows aren't even in the same world as far as effort goes. At $200 for 25th row and $275 for 8th row I will gladly save my money from now on.

So in answer to your question... yes it was that bad.

It could be my imagination but is he coughing when he gets back on stage near the mic? Also I haven't seen him drink so much before. In the clips that I have seen, he is drinking water a lot of the times.

I am sorry to hear that but thanks for your answer. The way you explained it sounds a lot more understandable than "Jon doesn't move anymore."

For the record, I'm not but I will after a good cup of coffee, fancy a smoke mate ?
What I mean is that 85% of the people at a north-american gig not recognizing Runaway would be kinda worrying wouldn't you say ?
