Las night's set with a few subtle changes:

1. You Give Love A Bad Name
2. Lost Highway
3. In These Arms
4. Because We Can
5. That's What The Water Made Me
6. Wild is the Wind
7. It's My Life
8. What About Now
9. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
10. We Got it Going On
11. Keep the Faith
12. Amen
13. The Fighter
14. Bed Of Roses
15. Army Of One
16. We Weren't Born to Follow
17. What's Left of Me
18. Wanted Dead or Alive
19. Who Says You Can't Go Home
20. Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars
21. Bad Medicine

Encore
22. Have a Nice Day
23. Born to Be My Baby
24. Livin on a Prayer

Encore II
25. Blood On Blood
26. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (Electric)

Is this a perfect set? Absolutely not. But I don's think I'd be out of line in saying that this would go over much better to both die hards and casuals than they're doing now. And every song I re-imported have been regulars forever, so it's not a question of super-rarities to save everything, and I didn't drop a single new song.

Just got off the phone with someone who went last night - the show wasn't as bad as the setlist makes it look like according to her. She was quite close to the stage and from what she saw Jon seems to be as sick as a dog and he started coughing a lot halfway through the night.
I'm getting the impression that this kind of setlist currently is about the only one that gets him through a 2,5 hour show.

On a sidenote: For the first time in years and years Richie sang the "Yes I have!" line in Wanted

ha yeah no probs!

I would say that's worrying and 85% is probably over the top, there's just a lot more I would like to see in that place, however if they do I love this town last again tonight I think they are really taking the P**S!

Now lets smoke

I've never heard that. Non-Bon Jovi fans tend not to seek out the band's performances on YouTube so they can slag off the singer's performance to fans of the band.

In fact what you have said there is rather ridiculous. Sorry.

They will improve. They always do.

All you can do is shake your head. With this band's catalog of great music, Jon picks 13 songs like this to perform. It's just mind boggling.
How the F*** can anyone bitch about the new songs. It is great they do this many new ones before the album is out. This way, folks seeing this show are at least having the BWC tour and not some general best of setlist.

For me they can play the whole WAN album and still have room for like 12 other songs - if they pull out 6 big hits and 6 great olds from their catalogue, that would be a killer set.

The only minor point to me seems the overal 'mid' tempo of the setlist and the fact that Jon doesn't move a lot. That's odd.

I've been wondering that for a while, now...

How sick/ill is the ultimate question?

To those who went to the show: do you really thought it was THAT BAD?
No, it's not that some people only have Bon Jovi in their lives, which is sort of the point. Here, in the states, for most average Americans, the economy is dismal. Most of us, have to prioritize what we choose to spend our money on, these days, because it does not go near as far as it used to.

My spending money on a Bon Jovi show, is an extravagance, for us, but was meant to be a treat for both me and my H. We rarely go out, anymore. I justified spending money on a Bon Jovi show, by expecting the same type of energy/shows that he and the rest of the band have given over many years.

It was to be "our vacation cruise" or "our Disney trip", etc.

To all of a sudden, change the way he plays the game, is totally unexpected. And, IF we are very disappointed with our experience at this show, then it leaves one feeling quite short changed, both literally and figuratively.

I hope that people, outside of the states, can understand what I'm trying to say, here.

Meanwhile, I will hope for the best...

Because the new songs he's choosing to do that I quoted are crap.

The answer was in the question. They don't have as much energy now they are in their 50's as they used to when they were younger. Hmmm.
