it's better than the setlist pattern ONE
I like IBTFY but I don't care about Memory one bit (same for superman tonight etc I don't like post 2000 ballads they are too cheesy and too 'forced' ) This setlist is the pattern 'second day setlist' -I mean it is not an original choice Jon dropped the fighter but not a big change as amen remains (that song is so awfully pompous awfully forced I am such a great songwriter type ) it is more or less the acoustic set on montreal 2 ..I mean that show was NOT better then montreal 2 setlist wise ..I think we can argue endlessly it is all matter or opinions and personal taste ...but what is sort of obvious is that the catalogue played so far is very restricted ..ME? I don't care my shows will be in few months ...I take nothing for granted with that band anymore but it should be betterunless bon jovi decided to never come back to europe ...but the issue here is that usually montreal and toronto have a great audience and then a better setlist than the usa shows ... this pattern DID NOT HAPPEN at any of the 4 canadian shows

Superman is not a ballad, though. And "cheesy"? Implying that Bed of Roses is not the most cheesy ballad ever written.

Its a amazing ballad, in a different league to the likes of Make a memory and superman tonight. I don't find it overly cheesy either. Every album i'm looking for another return to form on power ballads, but it never comes. Like Mimi said Amen sounds forced and just an attempt at writing a serious song but its terrible, never gets out of 2nd gear. I'm sorry but they just don't write love songs that speak to me anymore or that I can relate to.

What I'm saying is that Superman Tonight is not a ballad, is a midtempo. About the ballads, Bed of Roses is at the same level than Thank You For Loving Me, I like them though, as I liked too All About Lovin' You, The Circle lacked a good ballad, let's hope this record has one.

The only uncheezy power ballads they've done are I'll Be There For You, Always and This Ain't A Love Song. But I'd rather have a cheesy ballad than no ballad at all, I love the Bon Jovi ballads, I always find passion and feelings on them.

And Amen is awful, but I don't think of it as a ballad, as Jon might do. In the Bon Jovi world a ballad is a power ballad, IMO.

Why would a sports game be unpredictable? I've been to Leafs games where the team gets blown out of the water, which isn't all shocking and I've still had a good time. I paid money to be entertained and I wasn't. It is what it is. Why should I continue to pay money for a mediocre product?

Wow, Richie played a f*cking cool solo during KTF! Really different from what he usually plays!

I don't think I've ever bought a ticket to a football game in the hope of being entertained!
