This is where I disagree. If I'm getting few shows, (on Argentina, luckily one every three years from now), I'd rather hear different songs than the same old classics setlist. What's the point on going to a Bon Jovi show again if you're going to hear the same songs? Change them, post-2000, pre-2000, I don't care, just change them :P

I was at the show and to clear up a few things: Richie sang back up on IBTFY and Born To Be My Baby was not played.

Out of the new songs - What About Now and Amen got the best reaction. Army of One and That's What The Water Made Me got the worst. Because We Can was somewhere in the middle. Personally, I consider Army Of One an awful song.

The songs from The Circle got even less reaction than the new stuff (WWBTF and Superman Tonight, especially, got crickets).

I know people hate We Got It Going On but it gets a great reaction so I'm not surprised they keep busting it out. LH and WLOL got decent reactions but they don't work back to back at the start of the set.

Richie was on fire all night, Jon was nowhere near his best. In These Arms didn't sound very good and HAND wasn't great but Jon recovered for Runaway and LOAP.

Overall - solid show but an underwhelming set.

After spending goodness knows how much on this band i'm entitled to an opinion. Whats fun about listening to 3 songs back to back which will send me to sleep? I dunno maybe we've been spoilt in the past, but if they wanna play all this rubbish they should make the set a bit longer to make more room for the Bon Jovi of old. Esp now they don't have any support acts.

The age thing doesnt wash either, I saw Bruce 5 years ago and he would have been in his mid to late 50's? He was running around that stage for over 3 hours, played the new songs and still managed to please the die hards. Ok I much prefer Jovis music, I just think they are selling their fans way short.

Bruce is in a different league to pretty much every other performer. The man is a machine when he steps on stage and is much better at compartmentalizing his real life from his stage life. When Jon is pissed off he takes it to the stage and you can tell, its much harder to notice with Bruce.

How about you to go **** yourself. I've spent so much money on this band, we die-hards are definately entitled to have a proper opinion.

If I want to bash the band I'll do.

i agree with you Carli. Watched a vid of BTBMB from the other night, i wonder if he has got a bad back or something cause he didnt look comfortable. I dont think its an energy thing. Its weird, if he just cant be arsed then i dont know why he is bothering anymore.
