Dah, I hate when Richie sings a BJ song. I'll Be There For You? Jon can sing that. If Richie's gonna sing, sing a solo song or just play guitar.

It was probably just Richie joining Jon on the circle. That placement would make no sense, it would have to come before Amen/MAM if Richie sang it.

agree. as much as I like hearing Richie singing (and he nails I'll be There FOr you), I'd rather listen to a solo song. or just wait for wanted and have jon telling him to sing the second verse

I think Jon gives him the song because, despite the credits reading as JBJ/RS the song was created and developed by Richie more than Jon. There's an interview with Richie where he mentioned Ill be there for you and Bad Medicine as songs he wrote about his life.
