I'm selfish and would rather please myself by hearing a good song than see those who leave to get a drink as a non-hit is played get all excited when 'It's My Life' starts.

Erm, not really. People get excited at the beginning because it's that big hit, but it's never really worked live. It's boring live and way too slow.

Hello there !

I have to disagree here ... I´ve been to 15 + Bon Jovi concerts, and on each and every one of them, it worked BIG TIME !!

I hate IML, never ever listen to it on record and wish it would disappear off the set list. But seeing as it's their biggest hit of the last seventeen years I doubt that will happen

I agree... many of this list. And Who says you can't, too.

Well there you go. I've been to 20+ Bon Jovi concerts, and on each and every one of them it caused a lul in the set. There's a huge crowd roar in the beginning and then some in the end, but in the middle there's nothing. Jon's voice sounds shit on it and the talkbox sounds way too light. Further on, without all the drum loops and sound effects of the studio version the song sounds slow.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I don't think it matters how many shows you've been too. I've been to 30+ so does that make me more knowledgeable on the song than you both.To me its been a mixed bag. It either hits or misses. I see both points of view. I'll never fully agree with you Seb but I value your opinion.

Aloha !

I know it doesn't matter, which is why I mentioned my 20+ shows. I meant it as saying "I've been to 20+ shows, there's always one that's been to more shows than you". There's a certain point where the amount of shows you've been to doesn't matter anymore.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
