There is the performance value of a show too - however many folks go to a show, regardless of whether it is Jovi, Springsteen, U2, to hear a specific song (their favorite), or songs for that matter, which in-term means they may tune out the "crappier" or "crappy" songs, or even ones they really don't care for. In defining this, one person's "crap" may be someone else's "gold."
But yeah, I do understand your point - just because you are at a concert doesn't necessarily mean you have to make all of the songs
you hate into ones you like; you enjoy it for what it is. If you happen to enjoy them, fine; this also places the performance value into the equation.
Let's hope for a nice set for those there tonight!
