Isn't this show another show without opener again ... so the show begins when the band is ready ... usually around 8pm but tonight was 8:15pm

at first some fans thought it was going to be longer shows .
It seems it is not the case , they just don't share the stage. They call those shows an evening with bon jovi but it's just that they don't have openers ,not screening anything or taping anything.

Raleigh had an opener with Billy Falcon , this is why it began late.

It would be nice for them to be somehow "different' from a typical show. That would make "an evening with" something unusual. They could do a lot with that, such as at least 2 songs from each album or something. I can dream, yes?

When I saw them with an opener before, they were on stage by 8:30. This was the first time I saw them start 20 minutes later.

However, judging by the traffic outdoors, it is very possible that a lot of people took until then to even get IN to the place. The traffic was really bad and backed up on the interstate trying to get to the arena.

You are totally right that almost 9pm is the LATE side .. very much ... it happens at shows the band rushes the place late when on tour in europe for example maybe it happened like that in Raleigh
