I don't think Wild is the Wind and Living in Sin are safe rarities to be honest.

Hummz, RYH or ITA -> hard to pick... I hope they 'em both in Europe when I see them.

I'd die for you rocks as well and Richie singing IBTFY solo again! He'll probable will keep on doing that when they hit the stadims. Can't imagine them playing TLFR for 50000+ people.

I agree with Marco about WITW and LIS. Quality songs.

Walrus- what would you consider "unsafe"? I am thinking songs off of These Days or something like "Dry County" but I don't see them pulling DC out- even for the stadium shows in Europe unfortunately. If they did I would expect thousands of people nearly passing out from shock! And I would probably pass out reading about it, then come to and be insanely jealous.

As for the question on TLFR in stadium shows? It is probably unlikely but I am wondering... on the These Days tour didn't they do mini acoustic sets in the middle of some of the shows on that tour?...Or am I dreaming that? I swear I have read setlists where they did 3 or 4 slower songs acoustic.. I thought they did that sometimes in Japan on that tour and those were stadium shows. Did they do this in Europe ever?

And can anyone confirm if Great Balls of Fire was in fact played last night? I would go look on Backstage for a play by play but "technically" I am working right now!

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

By 'safe', I really meant 'ones that they played on the Bounce tour' ... I'm hoping that over the rest of this tour we see at least one or two songs that haven't been played since OWN or Crush, or maybe even earlier ...

Based on several show reviews on backstage. Great Balls Of Fire was in fact played.

But they played both WITW and LIS during the Bounce tour.. not often, but they did play them. LIS multiple times.

@ Lizz: Yes, they did playu a mini acoustic set during the These Days tour in 1996, also in the stadiums in Europe, ut that was a nice set lol; it was mostly ITA, IDFY (awesome version) or IBTFY and Wanted.

Okay, now I get you, but they only played Wild Is The Wind "regularly" during the OWN tour, but I still don't think those two songs are safe to play - not many "casual" fans know them and they don't play them often. A song like Diamond Ring would be a lot more safe, I think.

First post here...Hi.

As far as the fan base here, its pretty massive...The arena was presumably *almost* sold out. Largest arena we have here. And just for the record, the agri community and the "rest of us" rarely cross paths. The Caesar Chavez movement was an amazing uprising that truly changed the way of life around here. A lot has changed since the 70's...but I can see why you have such a horrid opinion of our area. It was a terrible time for equality.

Back to Jovi though. Great show. (the 2nd setlist posted was correct)...Great balls of fire was pretty fun. definately unexpected. The fan intensity was infectious, and the band of course, was great. The sound was kind of crummy though...I thought it was just because we had lousy seats...but I have heard this from other people since. Maybe it wasnt just me? Didnt really matter because the fans sang every word anyway, lol..Just couldnt hear what Jon was saying when he spoke.

SO much fun though. Great time..great music. Just plain fun.

I'm glad you posted. It's nice to hear that things are much better there politically than they were. I'm sure I sounded like an intolerant bitch but I was very young at the time and Fresno was truely "culture shock" for me.

The concert sounds as if it we as much fun as the ones I've seen this tour and Great Balls of Fire must have come out of nowhere

Kathleen
