Thanks for thinking of us guys. It was an incredible show - and I got to hear it from second row in the pit - dead center. My son was also at this show. Dry County has always been his favorite song and he has played a killer version of it on the piano for years. This is the first time that he got to hear it live. Jon was in extremely good voice and only a few lyrics were screwed up

Longer reviews will be posted later - my husband and I are taking Thierry and Kev on a New York City tour today. None of us has has much sleep this week. Pictures will also be posted.

Kathleen

I was at the show last night too..

I think I orgasmed about 20 times last night. WHAT A SHOW!!! In These Arms, Blood on Blood, and Dry County were the highlights. Oh and how could I forget ..they did ALWAYS!!! It sounded a bit different but Jon can still pull that song off!
I liked the video playing on the big screen during WSYCGH.. gave me a warm feeling for Jon knowing how psyched he must feel to be home. Another highlight was during one of the climaxes in BOB, a guy in the row in front of us fell right on his ass off the chair he was standing on. My sis nearly peed. Then this 4 yr old boy, also sitting in front of us, was on his dad's shoulders totally rockin out, doing the "rock on" gesture with both hands and all.

It was awesome when Jon said "I'm off tomorrow, so what the hell..." right before the 2nd encore.

I was hoping to run into some jovitalkers at the tailgate but by 5pm we were all pretty smashed.

The best part is.. I still have the 29th show to look forward to!!

The very first piano note, me and Becky grabbed hands and jumped up and down. It was a KILLEr show. I left impressed.

I DID nearly shit a brick during dry County. Jon had a mini speech in the piano break down just like the old days. When he said "This song is probably more relevant now than the day I wrote it" I swear I nearly lost it.

I'm in Jersey till Sunday but to Becky, Kathleen, Theirry, Kev, Amy, and anyone else I met, it was frigging fantastic meeting you.

Saturday Night as the final song seems pretty strange to me, have they done that before on this tour? Still, judging from the setlist it looks like a great show, the encore especially.

Did anyone notice Jon, during the final bow, looked out into the audience, smiled warmly and placed his hand over his heart? I thought that was awesome

Hey all,
I'm new here but I gotta say lastnight was incredible. I've been a fan of the jovi for years and finally had a chance to see them last night.. and I was blown away. There was so much energy and luckily the weather held up, even though it was hot as hell when ashbury and nickelback were playing. BTW Im not a nickelback fan but I was rather impressed with how they sounded live. And I thought Ashbury was fantastic, an excellent pick! But I was so amazed by what a show the band put on.. I always liked them and am so happy i finally had a chance to see them and it makes me damn proud to be from NJ!

The only setback was we had 4 drunkards infront of us.. but luckily they were just sitting there during the opening bands and got moved down as the actual owners of the seats came by. My bf and I couldn't thank them enough! The people who were originally infront were stone drunk by the first 2 bands and being so obnoxious..

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures from lastnights show? Thanks to those that posted videos (SAMBORAGUY!!) and those that posted photos/vids of the 7/18 show! Sorry you guys got rained out!
