I was there last night and YES, it was bad. First we had heat upwards of 115F. The rain was welcomed. The crowd went CRAZY when the rain started. When the wind picked up during HAND, Jon looked up to the sky and said, "bring it on and don't **** with my show" lol!! The lightening got very bad and venue management actually told the band they had to stop the show. The lightening guys that sit up suspended above the stage were in a LOT of danger, along with the fans, the camera crew, and the band.

The show kicked ass in my opinion. The energy of Jon and the band was great. Jon used the ramp three times: ITA, BM and LOAP. The set list was ordinary but the order is what made the show special, other than Bad Name I had NO idea what was coming next.

The crowd was LOUD!!! And everyone was up and singing, dancing etc, from the floor to the top of the stadium. It was almost totally full with just a few spots empty up at the top here and there but I'd still say there were about 55K there.

Can't wait for round #2 tonight. The weather is supposed to be cooler, hazy, but no rain in the forecast, at least not yet.

Hey deb,

How was Rockin as an opener for the show compared to Last Man Standing? I guess I'll learn the answer to that tonight but figured I'd ask anyway. Also, was Bed of Roses acoustic or electric and how was Richie's version of I'll Be There....

How many times you were planning to ask the same question?

Does anyone know if the fanclub trip is this week? Or is it for the 29th show?

Tico's in the back so they can mess around with perception and make him look taller.

As the se list went on last night and with the rain, it had the making of an amazing concert until it was cut short but the change of set list was great, it left me surprised for once and my friend liked that since I always tell him what is coming on next. Last night's show was still incredible and so was the vibe as the rain came down.

and Bed of Roses was done This Left Feels Right style, not acoustic or electric.

Last Man Standing
EveryDay
Faith
Blood on Blood

I want to be loved
Novocaine
Complicated
Older
Radio Saved my Life Tonight
Bells of Freedom
Wild in the Streets

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Rockin was a pretty cool opener. I like LMS better, but it was a nice change. I'm betting on "Rocking All Over the World" tonight. BOR was TLFRish (it's Thierry's fault--he wore the t-shirt ). I'm so ****ing sick of Richie singing IBTFY! But, honestly, I didn't mind it as much last night because I was pretty sick and I sat through IML, BOR, & IBTFY.

The show itself was incredible. Jon was on fire and sounded fabulous. In These Arms was beyond words I can find to describe it. OMG. It was great to hear Saturday Night. It was great to NOT hear Complicated!

The weather was horrible. The heat was oppressive. I've had a respritory infection for a week or so and couldn't breathe and spent the opening acts in the medic unit. I was disappointed about not seeing Nickelback, but I'll see them tonight.

I'll sum it up this way--sitting in the ER taking a breathing treatment, I thought, "I'm never going to another casino or stadium show again." By the time they played "Saturday Night," I thought, "Maybe I'd go to another stadium show."

Yeah the casinos really screw you huh! Sorry to hear you had to go through all that. Hopefully tonight is better.
