It was an excellent show, crowd were really up for it, good set list, not that much acoustic so everyone was boucin. Only minor complaint was that Dry County wasn't played and that was on most off the other shows. The band looked to be really enjoying themselves as well, wish I was the girl who managed to get on the stage and kiss him!!. Enjoy the rest of the shows,

How long were the sets and what time did the concert end? I'm off to see BJ tonight at Manchester and would like to know how long the concert lasts.

Played exactly 2 hours 30. Came on at 8pm on the dot, ending at 10.30.
Was it just me, or was the whole show pretty damn quiet, or am i just going deaf?
Volum knob coulda been twisted a bit more

I'm not sure what time the set began because I wasn't wearing a watch, but it was much earlier than the previous Bon Jovi concerts I've been to. I have a feeling Bon Jovi were on stage around 8 and it finished at 10.30.

Lol we both posted at the same time. I thought it was pretty loud actually (although that might have been the girl behind me who squealed down my ear the whole night). You could see the stage vibrating from the volume of the speakers.

Well, what can I say? The weather was perfect... Jon looked to the sky and said "This must be the first time i've ever been to Scotland when there aint even any clouds in the sky, never mind rain fall....the angels must want a good view of the stage".... It started amazing, at exactly 8pm, they were totaly up for it. I was at the barrier of the second gold area... which was a pretty good spot. I stuck my DRY COUNTY poster in Jon's face and he glanced but showed no emotion. By the end of the show, i knew fine well he was playing it safe. It was HUGELY better than in 2003, but I am so, so tired of getting my hopes up for These Days songs... or Dry County... especially since they are capable of playing them in previous shows. I mean, ending on Saturday Night for **** sake, it crushed me.

And get this... aside from starting on the cat walk for LMS, Jon accessed it ONCE during the ENTIRE 2 1/2 HOUR SHOW! This was for in these arms, I was too busy with my Dry County request to shake his hand. What exactly is the point in taking up so much room if he's not even going to use the damn thing.... 26 songs.... he should have been on that thing for 10 of them!

Crowd's response to I Want To Be Loved was poor, I was hoping they'd play it... the sound seemed to cut out at parts though. Nice screen show during this.

Richie was in a foul mood.... but i liked it. Stuck his finger up at the camera twice during Have A Nice Day.... which sounded much better live than on disc. IBTFY was the highlight of the night, it was trulely amazing.

In summation, they're still one of the best live acts to see. I took my friend along who hadn't been to a stadium show before and who wasn't a huge fan and he was hugely impressed. But if you're a fan... and you see past all the girls touching Jon's ass and "I'm going to see the Jon Bon Jovi gig tonight" and you cherish the relation to the pain in the lyrics of These Days and Dry County and understand them as musicians of the highest calibur with some of the best songs from the last 20 years at their disposal.... you will be pissed off to watch them ignore them. Cause I certainly was. And another thing... Chad Kroger and his band can suck my dick.

Someones got a hangover, lol
I thought Nickelback were ok, theyr sound kinda sucked, i wouldnt like to think we're back to the pre 70's "sabotage the support bands sound to make us sound better" theory. But they played faultless, and id rather have seen them than someone ive never heard of.
Was a great show, a very safe set nonetheless, but still good. Jon certinally seemed to be lovin it

Yeah I agree, I guess it depends on Jon's mood and how the show is going, but even on a good night he only uses it 3 times max. I would like to see him come out more, but even on the Jersey tour, he only used that catwalk twice (but at least Richie got to use that one as well!).
