Two thoughts:

Has Richie ever played solo on the same bill with the band before? I guess this would make it far less likely that he just plays versions of Prayer / Wanted etc.

Also, is this the first full Richie solo set that he's played since Rockin' The Corps in 2004 or whenever it was? That's the last one I remember hearing about

I am so insanely jealous of all who are going! I didn't realize Richie was doing a solo set until just now. I cannot wait to read the boards tonight!

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

He did that Tin Pan thing in Nashville, then he did that little private gig for some company in New York just a few months ago.

He also did a set at the Midnight Mission thing he hosted.

Folks on Backstage are expecting calls, but Richie hasn't gone on yet. I'll do my best to pass along the information, but I'm multi-tasking at the moment. (The Sporting Group is in the ring at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, and I'm watching on TV. Once Sporting is over, I'll still be watching, but I won't be quite so involved.)

Made in America!

Oh, I want to be there . . .

P.S. It looks like we've got at least 2 callers, so hopefully we'll get good info.
