Nah - people love to complain here.
Unfortunately some (not all) of it is justified lately.

And why aren't you asking that of the other folks that also said they don't think Jon sounds horrible. I didn't say it was good but I think saying "horrible" is an exaggeration.

Complain, analyze (I'm waiting for someone to say Richie must've been drunk because he sounded bad), exaggerate, melodramatize... every. little. thing.

I agree with a lot of stuff - I hate all the extra players up there, I hate that the set lists don't get changed up enough... but to rag on Jon because he doesn't go for the high notes anymore (or because he DOES go for the high notes and misses), or because he was having a bad day, or because he doesn't introduce Tico... Jeebus.

So ?

No way, this brave soul has taken on the large task of speaking for every person in the audience because, after all, everyone shares his opinion. Kind person, he is. I wish more people would speak for others.

No, I have perspective, to me, while not perfect it's not awful. Awful to me is the guy on American Idol auditioning and singing LOAP. Yes, Jon is having to shout to project the high notes but other than that I don't hear what's so "awful" or "horrible" about the performance. It has nothing to do with his looks. Why do you assume that I've followed the band since 1985 because of Jon's ass. I have once in a blue moon commented on Jon's looks or is it because I'm a woman that you assume I'm into the band/Jon for looks only.

I just don't see the point of constantly nit picking every ****in thing apart about set lists, shows, Jon's vocals. Give me one band who is 100% perfect every show. Every tour has had Jon having "off" nights vocally, even the TD tour which I know you regard as the holy grail of all Bon Jovi tours. Yes, Jon's not singing like the early 90s but for me and a lot of fans he's still pretty darn good if he's not for you and others then so be it. But, don't make me feel like an idiot because I still happen to enjoy what they are doing now in regard to live shows, new records, etc.

Because on everything that is clearly not good, then there is always you defending Jon. There are things that are a legitime complaints, yet whatever they do, how they perform it really doesn't matter for you. So as longs as Jon's ass is on stage (and therefore Jon, I hope) its OK for you.

That's performance of prayer is not good, sure if you compair it with every other dude that think he can sing but haven't sold 1 official record. That is, indeed a good comparising. It seems you always have that comparising.
Compared to previous versions of Prayer with JON singing it (to be clear) its an awfull performance. simple

No our expectations are just different. All I ask is that you let me have my opinion and not force feed yours on me.

And when did I say it was "good"???? I said it wasn't awful there is a difference. There were performances of LOAP in the 80s that were worse. I was there to witness them, but then there were shows that he was better, it happens so what.
