Default Official July 13, 2011 - Esprit Arena, Dusseldorf, Germany thread

The last time the boys played Düsseldorf was on May 13, 2006. Of course, this show marked the return of the Lord Almighty itself, Dry County, after a 10 year absence. Lets hope a similar thing happens tonight.

HAPPY NOW

Aloha !

Yeah they didn't play Dusseldorf last tour but they did Gelsenkirchen instead. They always do a show around that area, so bringing up the set from Dusseldorf isn't exactly fair comparison material, if you know what I mean? Gelsenkirchen was auto pilot after the first half of the set with Jon just going through the motions and the other show in Gelsenkirchen back in 2003 wasn't exactly brilliant either. Dusseldorf 2006 was saved by Jon, Richie was very far out of it but Jon gave everything he had that night. I'll be at this show together with the Americans you're thinking of. I have a feeling it'll be great, but we'll see.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Bad Medicine w/'Satellite' or 'Running Scared' would be appropriate here methinks

OK, I edited so the Gelsenkirchen 2008 set was there. It wasn't very brilliant set at all, but both Gelsenkirchen 08 and Dusseldorf 06 were the first shows of the leg, if that's any consolation. I don't think Jon's been on autopilot for most of this leg, except for maybe the last half of the Helsinki show and the Denmark show.

Oh well, we'll see. Best of luck to everyone going!

Is here anybody who is going to Dusseldorf, Zurich and Mannhein???

I´m thinking about it... and if I get that point, I would like not to be alone...

I think these 3 shows will be the best before Barna/Sanse/Lisbon

I'm going! This will be my first Bon Jovi show outside of Canada. My plane leaves in 36 hours, and I'm so pumped for 7 shows in Europe! Also travelling, site seeing, etc. Dusseldorf, Germany: Prepare for The Panda.
