A friend of mine was only going to be able to stay for the first 2 shows at the New Meadowlands stadium last summer. She needed to be back home for work on Friday night and was going to have to miss the third show. She dutifully went to the airport for her flight home that Friday morning only to have the toilet on the plane explode and contaminate the plane such that it could not be used. (None of us had ever heard of such a thing!) Since it was a holiday weekend here in the U.S., every flight that she could have taken was completely booked and they could not get her on a flight until Saturday at the earliest. Since there was no possible way for her to make it to the event she needed to attend for work, she had them book her on a Sunday flight. She picked up a ticket for Saturday's show, bunked in with friends at their hotel and got to hear her favorite Jovi song (Living in Sin) for the first time ever.

Sh!t happens . . . sometimes literally. And it isn't always sh!tty when it does! Good luck with your flights.

EDIT - I'm not sure when it switched, but I love it that "The Distance" is now the category I'm in. How appropriate.

So today's the day for this one. Will it be better than Düsseldorf? I sure hope so. I think the Swiss deserve it, with their awesome chocolates, cheeses, watches, and army knives!

I'd venture a guess and say that it's better than last show, as they usually don't string total crap back to back. Hoping it's good everyone there.

And I happen to like the Crush Tour DVD. Sure, it's nowhere near London, but it's not terrible.

Same as yesterday - they should be onstage at about 8 o'clock which is in 40 minutes.

I do too. Saturday Night from that concert is fantastic. So is Prayer. It just gets a lot of crap around here, probably because there were better shows on the Crush Tour.

Don't forget the Swiss Roll, probably probably my 2nd favorite Swiss thing just behind Toblerone.

Granted there were, even so I think it's the second best live video they've released. Of course, I also love having that many Crush songs preserved live and in HQ.

Richie was like a zombie on The Crush DVD. There was no magic at all in the whole thing. KTF was about the only memorable performance.

MSG beats it, and that's not saying much about MSG.
