BON JOVI: PHILADELPHIA STADIUM SHOW!!!
(Friday, April 14, 2006)
BON JOVI BRINGS SUMMER'S BIGGEST BASH TO PHILADELPHIA ON JULY 15

TICKETS ON SALE FOR CITIZENS BANK PARK CONCERT ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29 EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH NEW ERA TICKETS

Bon Jovi are bringing their "HAVE A NICE DAY" World Tour back to Philadelphia for a big summer bash. The band will perform live at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday, July 15 at 7 p.m. Tickets for this show will go on sale on Saturday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at Citizens Bank Park, and exclusively through New Era Tickets at 1-800-298-4200 or at neweratickets.com/bonjovi.

"Philadelphia and the Bon Jovi fans in this city have been with us for a long time," said front man Jon Bon Jovi. "Philly is always a great time for us and the big outdoor show is going to be a great night of rock 'n' roll - one big party."

Rockers Nickelback, with radio hits "Photograph" and "How You Remind Me," will take the stage as Special Guests.

Bon Jovi played two sold-out shows on this tour at the Wachovia Center on December 2 and 3, 2005.

Bon Jovi has deep roots in Philadelphia. From early club shows to the recording of the band's second album, Philadelphia has hosted the band for more than two decades. More recently, Jon Bon Jovi became co-owner of the Philadelphia Soul, the local Arena Football League franchise, whose commitment to community service finds the organization devoting time and money to worthy Philadelphia-based charities and causes. The band's latest video single, "Who Says You Can't Go Home," (the country version of which earned Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland a 2006 CMT Award for "Best Collaborative Video") documents houses being built in North Philadelphia, as part of Bon Jovi's partnership with Habitat for Humanity. By fall, a total of six homes will be completed or under construction thanks to the Bon Jovi relationship with Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia.

Bon Jovi is the second act to ever perform at the three-year old Citizens Bank Park, after Jimmy Buffett christened the concert stage last summer with two performances in August (2005).

"We're very excited to have Bon Jovi perform at Citizens Bank Park," said Phillies President David Montgomery. "We expect this to be a memorable entertainment event for thousands of fans throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Global Spectrum and Electric Factory Concerts are terrific partners and we can't wait to hear the great sounds of Bon Jovi from our ballpark this summer."

Over the last two decades, Bon Jovi has earned the respect of the music industry and the loyalty of legions of fans around the globe. They have sold over 100-million albums worldwide and, since forming in 1984, Bon Jovi has performed more than 2,500 concerts in 50 countries before more than 32-million people. Bon Jovi's latest studio release, "Have A Nice Day," was released in September of 2005. The album features hit songs "Have A Nice Day" and "Who Says You Can't Go Home" and has sold more than 3-million copies worldwide. Bon Jovi's world tour launched in November in Des Moines, IA, and is continuing through stadiums in Japan and Europe before returning to the US this summer.

New Era Tickets, the exclusive ticket provider for Bon Jovi's concert at Citizens Bank Park, is a subsidiary of Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor. The full-service ticketing company, based in the Philadelphia suburbs, is the official ticketing company of the Borgata, the Liacouars Center at Temple University and Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. Global Spectrum, also a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, secures non-baseball events for the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

That's cool. Geez - At least they gave Philly fans a 2 week notice to save a few bucks.

Yes! The question everyone wants to know is where and when...

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I visited the website for new era tickets and they're asking for a pre-sale password. I received that info for tickets for the January shows, however I didn't receive anything for this one. Any idea of how I can sign up for that code or am I just totally out of luck?!?
