The whole discussion about def leppard versus bon jovi is interesting
I think they invited Kid Rock to sell more tickets to be more attractive young audience oriented (but I am not sure it worked that well)
I think they pick up openers for all sort of reasons but on this tour is was IMO to increase tickets sales ..DL wouldnt help at all

I would love for Bon Jovi + Aerosmith to tour together - since we're on the subject. Of course Aerosmith will open for no one, + neither will Jon. So it wouldn't have a chance in hell of happening. O well...
